So you really have 3 accounts and want to know what happens when someone looks and matches all the IPs? (-;Quote: kewljI really don't keep up with all this drama. I already spend too much time, just reading and participating on the site.
But Axel brings up an interesting point concerning IP addresses and family and friends. I mean I live in a household with 2 other people that I define as AP's and one that thinks he is. So 2.5 OTHER AP's. One occasionally reads the site on my account, but has shown no interest in participating. (I think that is more about spying on me). The others absolutely no interest, as a matter of fact they think I have a problem for the amount of time I spend on line.
But what if one did and set up an account on the same computer with same IP address???? Am I the only one in this situation? I know of a couple husband and wife combos that gamble, not necessarily participate on sites. I mean what if Mrs EvenBob wanted to become a member? Or the girlfriend that Axel claims he has? <- lol. (just kidding axel). Just food for thought.

I think I then read your forum coming out or whatever and something about your partner. He flashed in my memory, I wondered could it be?
Then you mentioned a few places that have good comps or whatever. You mentioned the denominations he plays. I then noticed this person at one or two of them locations a few times. He playing similar denominations and similar plays.

On multiple accounts: Not on message boards. I know you are not a blackjack guy, so may not know my message board history, but there was an incident on another site, Ken Smith's blackjack info, that ended up being a pretty humiliating thing for me. I didn't change handles or do multiple accounts at that time, when maybe a fresh start might have made sense, just kept right on being me.....so no I don't do multiple handles or accounts. I say what I say and well whatever. ??
On my partner: I know all gay guys think they are so masculine and no body knows they are gay. While I am not flamboyant or feminine, it's probably not a difficult guess for people to think me gay. But, my partner really doesn't seem gay at all, (at least out in public). He really is a pretty 'normal' acting guy. He was married to a woman for many years and has 3 grown children, and although that doesn't always mean much, in his case, I doubt most people that don't know him think him gay. BUT...I have no doubt that YOU have pretty good gaydar so who knows. LOL.

I have to admit that I too am curious as to whom it was (by previous handle), but I respect it if management doesn't feel that is our right. Someone who has issues with me for obvious reasons. But he also has a dislike of the other members mentioned for some unrelated reasons. That could keep the detective crew busy. :) Unfortunately, I don't have enough knowledge of all the drama and feuds to figure it out. :(
Before I close this particular subject for me, for good, can anyone make heads or tails of that "buttered green beans" reference? I haven't a clue. (can pm me if you like).

kewlj, I'm very sorry you were so offensively attacked on this board, though I realize you were not the only one. I think the "buttered green beans" reference might go back to the butter scene in the movie Last Tango in Paris. Bizarre at best.

I was going to suggest a rule allowing a banning if a member was just not deemed worthy of participating in an, at least, half intelligent and half polite discussion forum. I put the half and half in there so I could hopefully continue to hang around myself ;-) It seems that is already covered under the Nuclear Option, so never mind.
It's too early in the day now, but later I think I'll mix some half and half with some Khalua and vodka. It's been awhile.

One of the Admins said another itteration of the 'Son of Bac 9' or something similar which just confused me more.
There were references to green beans, and er, um....., other things. Must have been pretty bad.
I am a relative newcomer here, have seen some really unusual stuff, but don't remember seeing or reading of the record being 'wiped clean' before.

You didn't miss much 2F. Just seemed like the rantings of a 10 year old (or a mental patient).

Just laugh at them. I've found that that irritates them to the fact that they realize their comments don't bother you and they eventually quit.

"having no fight with you" didn't insure anything. There was one member of the forum, a real good guy, who juts happened to be online at the wrong time and said something about the attacks being distasteful or something and he was immediately included.
I don't remember the handle and I don't see it on the list. It started with or had the word 'three' in the handle. Babs erased all evidence of this fellow. lol maybe Babs new nickname should be "the eraser". :)

It's unfortunate that new members come under extra scrutiny but that's the climate were in now. While this member's posts don't violate any rules, he or she has drawn attention to himself or herself with the signature. It might be a gray area because there's no link but it is clearly an advertisement. That site is pretty pricey by the way.
It is not unprecedented for a signature to be removed by an administrator on this forum.

there is a link. I removed the link in my quote to this board, so that i do not further spread his advertising and making mod cleanup easier.
this does break a rule as set forth in rules 2.1:
"No free advertising. If you want to advertise on this site then expect to pay. Members in good standing may plug their own product or service, with prior permission. However, "good standing" must be earned. Definitely don't post an ad in your very first message!"

killed all his posts because they were nonsense used to get his tagline posted, which removed the url tagline. Haven't nuked him, yet; we'll see where it goes. Thanks for the heads up.

I second the motion, bring back MC.
Now that causes problems, I realize that. 1BB will point out favoritism and inconsistency. What? The forum can't play favorites or be inconsistant? Is that anywhere in the rules? I spent the little time I had today for the forum, tracking and re-reading, and putting in context posts from MC. I did not know the chickenman was going to make this suggestion. I've heard it made before. Today, this the first day of July, in the year 2015, I second the motion.
Throw out any rules that don't work, bring them back next month if you need to, get the content that needs to be on the Forum( we need MC ) on the forum. Content that doesn't need to be, throw it out, get BaBs to 'erase' it. Did the owner's, past or present promise to be nice? Did they promise to be relevant? Did they promise anything? Or did they just provide a usefull source of info and dialog to a large group of mostly semi-normal people (cut some slack here, we are talking gamblers) to get together and chat.
Don't be nice. I'm not all that nice and don't usually feel all that guilty. Let EvenBob set up the rules, well-at least for a month or so.....;-)
