Okay, the next video in my series is ready on Three Card Poker.

This time I'm not soliciting suggestions for improvement. You've already beaten me up quite badly over the previous videos. I know all the mistakes, and this one makes all the same ones again. Keep in mind I shot all of them last year, so don't say "Didn't you listen to me last time?"

Some of you suggested gaffing hands for purposes of example in the Pai Gow Poker video. At least I won't get that one again this time.

If you must beat me up again over how much these videos suck, and how much I stink, please try not to be too mean. I just lost a lot of money on the Super Bowl so don't need to be kicked while I'm down.

I don't think any of us were saying "how much these videos suck" or "how much I stink."

Athough there's little difference in "mistakes made" and "ways it could be better," please be assured that the comments were intended to be the latter.

I.E. The comments were made because you're our friend.

Thanks, I know. It was just humbling to get so many "ways it could be better."

Good timing, as I'm planning to play this game for the first time tonight.

I haven't watched the video since I'm at work, but I'll watch it when I get home tonight.

Now I am having doubts about who the man behind the curtain really is ??

It's not whether you win or lose; it's whether or not you had a good bet.

I think I'm pretty cool about the ups and downs of gambling. However, even I can get a little rattled after a once in a year big loss.

Wiz,

I liked the showing of the hands to the camera in this one. It is a good substitute for an overhead camera shot. I was surprised to hear that you shot this last year before getting all the comments from Pai Gow Poker video as I think you addressed at least one of the suggested improvements to the PGP video.

I thought this video did a good job of getting the basic rule Q/6/4 our there and highlighting make sure you get paid on Ante Bonus & PP bets even when the dealer doesn't qualify or beats your hand.

You also seemed to have good hand selection here as well. I couldn't tell from your comments if you set them up that way or if they just happened. In any event, good job on that.

At first I thought not having the TCP layout was never going to work, but the fact of the matter is you really can't tell what the layout says due to the angle of the camera shot and the 3 Card BJ layout was fine as it has all the same betting area locations.

Both Angela & Dan added to the explanations of the games with good questions/insights.

Of course there are always going to be things that can be picked at, but overall I thought this was a good explanatory video.

OK, then, The Wizard is not allowed to look inside the following box.

Actually I have contemplated playing this game; the video tipped me off that I probably was going to be handling the cards incorrectly. With a surly dealer the mistake can practically ruin the whole evening. Yet the video does not exactly tell me how to handle the cards. I am guessing you would look at your cards by peeling them up but not lifting them from the table? Also, it would seem flipping them over yourself to indicate a fold is the way to do that, but is it a faux pas to do this before everyone bets? It is sort of funny how these etiquette instructions are just so often not mentioned (generally, not just in WoO videos) but Oh so important when you play.

I'm glad the business of incorrect pays on bonus is brought out and emphasized. In a report by Teddys (I think) he indeed did say he was catching the dealer making the no-pay mistake constantly.

Unless I am very much mistaken, the Wizard quotes the wrong HE on the pair plus for the pay table he cites, which is actually over 7% according to his WoO site, I do believe.

Absolutely HOT!!! Angela wasn't bad looking either!

But seriously, I enjoyed the video and appreciate learning the breast, I mean best, way to play. :)

I enjoyed the video, thanks Wiz. The main thing I got out of it was to be on the lookout for non-pays on a losing hand that should have an ante bonus.

I agree, I couldn't read much of the layout anyway. It didn't detract from the video at all and you probably could have omitted the apology.

I finally had a chance to watch.

I have no new critique. Anything I would have to say, has already been said about the other videos.

But here's good news: Had this been the first video presented, there would be less critique.

That's to say, there are fewer "problems" with this video.

It's almost as if your team had a pow-wow between shoots to talk about possible ways to make it better.

Well done.
