Looking for the longest run on reds is in many ways like trying to determine how many times you must divide a number by two in order to reach ZERO.
I've seen what I believe to have been 26 reds in a row at the Taj Mahal in AC back in 2007.

I remember a guy who always used to bet Martingale at a UK casino in the eighties. Betting high or low. enabling him to spread onto the dozens, six-lines, etc. He'd win about £50 most days, then do about five thousand on the odd occasion it all went pear shaped.

On August 18, 1913 in Monte Carlo black came up 26 times in a row. It made headlines around the world. Gamblers rushed to be on or against the streak.
While it seems logical that given the number of casinos around the world, that this record would have been beaten in the last century, I have never heard of a new record.

Interesting... when I spun 19 red in a row, I didn't think it was such a big deal. The dealers on a dead dice game across the way were watching the history board with curiosity as the Martingale bettor fired away, but when I eventually got moved to that dice game, nobody seemed to think twice about it. I usually mention it when any talks of the Gambler's Fallacy come up, but I thought a streak like this was fairly common (granted - I don't usually pay attention to things like this)... interesting to hear that the record is only 26. If I recall correctly, 00 repeated just after the streak, making it 21 spins without a black number (then again, I may not recall that correctly... but the 19 red I am sure about). I read that that in Brazil in 1943 red came up 47
times in a row. I saw 31 reds and 1 black at the
Rio in Vegas, so its certainly possible.

The chance of 26 reds in a raw is about one in 274 million. I am sure it ought to happen a lot more often than once in a century. Should be something like about once per year per thousand tables on average.
