At Ceasars in AC if you fold your hand on Mississippi stud you lose your 3 card poker side bet. I guess the 7+% house edge on the side bet just isn't good enough.
The mountain is tall but grass grows on top of the mountain.

I don't play the game, but did you confirm these are the house rules?
I've had dealers there make up rules on the fly. Playing 3CP one dealer insisted I was required to play the Pair+/6 Card Bonus. I had to ask for the pit boss to tell her otherwise.

There have been casinos requiring a PP bet before.

It's a new house rule ,the floor was telling the dealers and they had a temporary sign taped on to the rules/odds sign.I don't play the bet but it sure was pissing off alot of the players.

It's such a popular bet, I have to assume the only reason for that rule is that the casino suspected dealers were showing cards.
