Mustang Sally is a long tenured well respected math expert here on WoV, as the Wiz himself will vouch for her. I read 'advantage craps play' and am intrigued as to what that is. My hunch is MS might not feel comfortable elucidating on this forum, but I had to ask.

She had previously outlined a play that involved a loss rebate. Not sure if that is what she is referring to now.

Thanks. It seems hard for me to understand why a casino would offer a loss rebate as outlined, but if it does, it is an easy AP move.

these days I do not think 'that craps play' is still available. Maybe outside of the US. Too many casinos got caught thinking the player had no edge, when they did in fact, as far as I understand. Sally found that play in an Excel sheet I gave to her. I had left the 'risk of ruin' options in the calculations not knowing it, should have been removed.

"A discount on loss (DOL) is a cash-incentive that is awarded as a cash reimbursement to a premium player who suffered a significant loss during a trip. Simply put, the losing player is refunded a fixed percentage of his losses.
The most vulnerable game, by far, for DOL exploitation is craps. There is essentially no way for a casino to offer a financially sound DOL program at craps. Any craps player who is given a DOL can easily beat the casino outright.

If I had my way, I’d do away with DOLs. While their original purpose was to encourage the quick repayment of a player’s line of credit after a significant loss, they have morphed into a marketing monster. "

I've played about 8 cards in my life and I'm sick of them. Perhaps I need to think more, refine my strategy before playing again. Had my confidence pick been good, I'd at least have made a short term profit which would also be a lifetime profit. I will keep trying.
