2018 WoV Picks game (discussion thread)

I hate the most average prize, it's a participation trophy for being totally insignificant. Congratulation, you're a circular shaped flat piece of metal with two different sides. Unfortunately I'm capable of stealing it if I suck really bad going forward.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up, but I think it would be a good idea to go off site. Don't tell DJ we're doing one next year, tell him it's cancelled.

I say the most average prize should be closest to 52.4%, as that is the break even percentage. Or something like that. Next season.

I think most would agree that it should 56.06 %, and that we should start that immediately. For this past week for sure.

No. I had about 8 games I kind of liked, used a random integer set to choose 5 numbers of 8, then did a simple random number choosing 1-5.
The hard part, I copied the entire list, then deleted as I went, which gave me no shot at second thoughts, then when I did the random integer set, I really had to remember which teams were which. Guess I could have copied and used a random list, but I didn't.

Ending of Dolphins/Pats game was a stunner. Those plays with multiple laterals never work. . . . except, like, WTF just happened?

I never said that, I just said Brady’s career isn’t over because of a few bad games. Case in point, he had an outstanding game today.

Brady has 23 TD to 8 INT on the season.

The Patriots lost today to a team they often lose to away, in fact, Brady has a losing record in Miami even before today’s game.

The Patriots are 9-4 and it would take a LOT for them to miss the playoffs. Depending on what the Chargers do, the Pats will be tied for the second-best record in the AFC.

Nope. Not really worried. I don’t expect them to win the Super Bowl this year, but if this is a, “Decline,” teams such as the Bills and Browns haven’t declined this well since the 90’s.

I thought there might be 3 of us. I told Mission I was aiming for the 0-6 to overtake the bottom, since nothing else was happening for me.

So of course, Sunday I went 3-0.

But then last night happened. As usual, when I actually get to watch the Vikings (we never get their feed in Florida), they completely forget to show up.

And of course, it's all about me. So I'm 3-3 again for the week, and with a record 7 (7!) prizes available in the game, I'm mired in mediocreville.

Seems damn hard, which makes me wonder what I'm missing. I am always cautious to trust you after you nugget failure. Hopefully there is some way you can do this and somehow I win my bet you don't win the contest.
