Here are my favorite picks.

Pick Market Basis points
NOS +3.5 3 EV 43.4
NYG -2.5 -3 (-120) 25.8
Indy +3.5 2.5 22.0
Clev +7.5 7 19.6
Rams +3.5 7 17.0
Dal +4.5 4 12.3
SF -7.5 -9 5.8

I admit that I screwed up on the last one and meant Buf -7.5, as you had to only give up 7.5 on Buffalo and the going spread was 9. So, I don't know if I get to count that one as a win. It was marginal anyway, I probably wouldn't have bet it personally with so many other good picks. If I do, here is what the results look like:

Pick Market Basis points W/L
NOS +3.5 3 EV 43.4 W
NYG -2.5 -3 (-120) 25.8 W
Indy +3.5 2.5 22.0 W
Clev +7.5 7 19.6 W
Rams +3.5 7 17.0 W
Dal +4.5 4 12.3 W
Buf -7.5 -9 5.8 W

If you had bet all seven you would have made 100x your money. Two words, people -- Silver Platter.

I feel the blowout and can't imagine how upset some people are going to be that the money didn't get wagered this week

I think starting a strawman argument of resentment among the team is counterproductive. Be upset if you want, but don't sour the fun with stuff like this on the board. If we didn't get bets down, we didn't. Shrug. On to next week.

If I'd been in Vegas, I'd have placed the bets. I wasn't. Probably true for most of us. Maybe those who are local or likely to be there at the right time could sign up each weekend in a thread, and we'd have a group to draw from as runners if it looks to be THE weekend . Wizard can escrow if he's willing. We're only talking a little over $200.

There are plenty of people that could have done it, we managed to get put our cards in with everyone out of town, someone(apparently Romes is in charge) just needed to speak up.

Literally sent you a text about it last Friday...

As Axel said, I do think its wise to make sure we have a fall back bettor/s now for the upcoming week/s.

I do think we should get something placed in the next two weeks. Also, please post in the other thread. Others like me may be missing these posts thinking it doesnt have to do with the team.

Friday literally too late. Already heading to the airport. Had someone called me on Monday and said, I'm not sure if we will have any good options this week, or if Mike or you are available, but do you know anyone available just in case?

I would've done my best to get someone as I did for us(probably the same person, thanks BTW. And even one other). We were in a tight spot ourselves. We almost had to skip it due to other better things. I even suggested skipping it myself , but since it was a jucy week and we on a roll there was much resistance. I literally had to meet with a forum member just before my flight suitcase in hand and GF in tow, just to get him set up.

This is the Romes show, so get your sh*t together or give up the pot. Don't make me regret suggesting the parlays in the first place.

Where's the tar? 2F can send his feathers.

One a good note, I can imagine 2f cursing you with some indian bad luck BJ voodoo rain dance.

Speaking of a dance. Did OnceDear(the rat) take parlay action? I think not, If not he probably bought another premium celebratory 5th and is dancing a jig while watching FB highlights.

No Foxy, I didn't. I feel the pain of those who did and saw that winning bunch of non-wagers. I did say that I would try my own silly little parley with my bit of the winnings. But I would never expect to multiply my bit 100 fold. If you guys had achieved that, I'd have conceded that my humble doubling of my $15 was as far as I would risk.

Missed by one game on multiple 10-team cards. As it was only earned about one months income from these instead of six months. Been out of the loop about what anyone else has been doing on these, but should be in touch this weekend. Hoping to hear about some six figure wins, if not close to seven figures.

If you played two $10 six team parlays with opposite sides of the same game, it would have paid out $460 instead of $440.

Or just 10 $2 cards each to win $92 and each with at least a 52% chance of winning the added game. But that's more work

Market says the Saints +3.5 is only about 60% chance. If anyone thinks that's close to a lock they should have no problem loading up as much as they want without having to drive around from place to place, nor having to worry if the other games on the parlay win.

WH may have the best payouts, but other books with different lines and less flagging can be worth almost as much. Buffalo +7.5, Green Bay +3.5, and Chicago +6.5 all available elsewhere this week.

Heard about a group who brought in some new guys who either didn't know or didn't care about the impact if they put too much money through with all the same games in one place.

Don't do that. -6 is the worst number possible. Seems to be available only on Bovada. Supposed to be -4 to 4.5.

Bears +6 should be a good bet, unless you believe that the purpose of every Bears game really is to make me lose bets. Which it is. But still...

Im debating vikings -6 If they win its going to be by over a td or two. Bears are injury ridden and mentally down

Disclaimer--- I would have taken the Vikings too... But this is the NFL..... I think the 'mentally down' pat is really just nonsense. These guys are always playing for their next contract, the coaches coaching hard so not to be fired.... The Bears get their QB back and they look like a real team. Vikings obviously most overrated team in NFL (except maybe my 4-4 Bills). Did someone actually post that Bills were good bet against Brady????
