I can’t figure this one out so I need help. We planned to do a 3 way chop on a play. Agreed upon by everyone. The plan is to do 500 and card in by 1 player, and then rotate when that 500 is gone. So I need my 500 and lost it. Player two was in there and hit a jackpot for 1445(and left a 20 dollar tip…too much but I digress). Player 3 was off playing a different machine. During the hand pay waiting he disappeared. Called him 3 times. No answer. She gets spooked and wants to buy her portion out after we lose what was left in the machine but not the 1425 from the jackpot. She leaves and we chop the 1425(which should have gone 3 ways and not a 2 way chop. I didn’t realize that at the time.

So it was just me there after she left. I ended up losing 5672 on the play. Very sad. Now everyone I talk to says he owes a third. But does he need to put his 500 towards the debt first or does it not matter? She’s out, but she also owes him about 237 dollars(and he owes me 238 less) IF that 500 doesn’t matter. I can’t figure it out

Ok so I figured it out. My mistake earlier was thinking he was due a full chop on the 1425. He isn’t, just the 425 profit since he didn’t put 500 in. So Player 2 owes him 71 and I owe him 71(which I’ll just subtract from the 1890). It’s still an 1890 debt but just where it comes from is slightly different

Good lesson on using these agreements VERY carefully. If it’s not 100% clear before you play the first dime.

How much have you lost gambling and in what period of time ? Are you in debt? Lets start. I've lost more than 300k in 12 years.
