Since PokerStars has closed and returned money, I was wondering if any of the locals had a recommendation for satellites in Vegas in the weeks heading in to the WSOP. I see Rio has $550/$1060/$2080 mega-satellites, I was wondering if anyone had a better suggestion. Also, does anywhere offer one table S&G entries? Thanks.

I'd go $550 megas,

Are they no on-line poker sites at all in the US?

Every site here offers WSOP seats, not just stars or tilt.

To the best of my knowledge, none of the major sites allow US players to play anymore, and some (UB) I wouldn't play with anyway. PS returned the money in my account that I was planning to use to qualify this year, so I was just looking for land based alternatives in Vegas. I was hoping to find one table sit & goes rather than megas, but RIO seems to have an abundance of megas. Hopefully some of the other casinos will offer decent satellites. I was thinking with all the US players having to qualify live, there would be lots of options.

If you have enough bank roll to enter satellites, just enter a bunch of tournaments with prize money, win them and pay your own way in. The juice might be lower, you can fit to your own schedule, and if you win, say 80% of the buy in, your still up 8 grand.

I am lead to believe there are still on line poker rooms, possibly the cake network?
