Pocket card myth, or fact?

do this challenge..get a deck of poker cards. count them to be sure theirs 52. Deal them out by 2s as pocket cards
see if you can't deal not one top 5 card combo. Any 2 cards between 10 - ace.
If you always get at least 1 combo of any cards between 10 - Ace .
Online poker maybe fake, anything thats fake can be rigged.
I have done the pocket challenge over , and over .(hours est.40 done in a few months ) Avg. 3 any of top 5 combo. Enough times to write this as my word. I can't remember 1 time in 26 str8 pairs.( thats the number of pairs in a deck before I needed to resuffle the deck). I didn't get 1 t5 combo
And this should be a poker principal. Remember a online site dealt me 52 pocket cards in a row WITHOUT one top combo. And more than once......
This a like cause anyone can do this. And any reader can PUT A WRITERS trust worthness to the test.
Like I'm now.. so ALL YOU NAY SAYERS. Post your results to the world. Please don't do the test, and then REFUSE
to post your findings. Cause if I'm right about this then.......?

Also I have the hand history to prove my claim about the 52 str8 pockets
without a t5 combo.

As I said in the other thread, I'll repeat for a final time. Your experiment is flawed. The casino doesn't deal you 2 pocket cards and then save the rest of the deck for your next pocket cards. Your next pocket cards are from a fresh 52 card deck. You have to shuffle the deck after each deal for the experiment to be accurate.

I did it once and DIDN'T get a top pair. I'm now convinced online poker is safe for all.

and I repeat you don't...but to prove you wrong..earlier I did re shuffle the deck each time. and
and post the finding on here somewhere. And close I got was to 52 . was 21 times before t5 combo.
and had 1 9 6 4 7 3 11 8 2 15 times before getting a t5. nowhere close to 52.

If you're saying to deal 26 two card hands from one deck, you are almost guaranteed to have at least one of those 26 hands have high cards.

I believe that will be the case. In fact I believe you'll have far more than one. Although it IS possible to have zero.


But if you deal one two card hand and shuffle them back in and repeat it 26 times, while it would be unlikely, it would be entirely possible to have none of those 26 have high hands. And such a scenario is more probable than the first scenario.


HOWEVER, I absolutely believe that if you then do both of those tests a hundred times, and add up the number of hands with high cards, the first scenario will have a higher total.

OK, I don't think I need to even try it for myself. You have absolutely convinced me that he is actually a wild animal's resting place.

Here is a table I made just for you. For example in your 10,000 trials you will deal 5 pocket cards before you get one of your "t5" hands 772 times. You have a 1 in 3109 chance of getting to 52 or more. Edit to add link to a speadsheet with info on streaks. google docs spreadsheet

oh Doc you did try it math form. I think you posted 3.2 out of 10,000 hands.. To go over 50 hands before getting a T5 combo.

I said it was 3.2 out of 10,000 hands. When you play alot of poker on line, you are probably playing 30 hands an hour. If you play 4 hours a day, that's 120 hands. You're likely to run into this awful scenario in one session in 25.

3.2 out of 10,000 is not out of the realm of possibility. It's just being unlucky.

What bothers me is the fact that you believe that the casino has singled you out. Why? Why hasn't it singled everyone else out?

A far more likely scenario for cheating is indeed someone else knowing what your cards are and betting accordingly against you. The only money that the casino is going to take off of you with crappy cards should be the blinds, a slow death.
