I've tried it at $.02/$.05 a couple of times. It is oddly addictive, but I don't think I have a strategy to beat it. I kind of win and lose and try to quit while ahead. My style has just been to play only the best hands, get out if the flop doesn't hit me and bet strong if it does. Any insight?

I asked about zone poker poker about a month ago, very few comments were made. People suggested the play would be a lot tighter, however I found just as many donks as tight players.

I was wondering if the zone poker format helped cut down on collusion. It certainly has not cut down on the 1 ,2 and 3 outer (ie All in with AK vs AJ) bad beats that seemed to always and constantly deify the odds. I have yet to talk to one REAL person who has not told me they always lose dramatically after cashing out.

I have had good success on 1/2 NL poker there after I first got an account +15K (not zone of course) cashed out and lost half back faster then I could blink. I Stopped playing for a long while. I then started back up and the same thing happened for less money of course. I have had good successful tournaments consistently.

You have now, the cashout curse is a ridiculous online poker myth. Anyone that claims such a thing should not be taken seriously.

As for tighter players at Zone Poker, this has been the case with other sites when they introduce fast fold variants. I don't think Bodog/Bovada offer serious enough limits for this to be an issue yet.

I want to say I have been gambling for along time and for the most part I think everything is on the up and up.

I would like to see Some statements from some trusted gambling authority with a reputation that IT'S 100% fair and random.

If you think people are not colluding is smaller limits, You are absolutely wrong. I have known guys that were doing it at the micro stakes. That's how they pumped up. A new group starts up all the time. Some fail because they don't know how to do it properly, some do very well. There are guys who know if they go to the bigger limits they will get caught. There are guys who are only good enough to beat the smaller stakes colluding. They can suck your profits way down. Even when you fig out what is going on the clever cheaters can't and be proven. so you never get refunded.

I'm not one to believe in crazy shit like this lose after you cash out stuff, when I hear it from the average Joe I ignore it. I realize a few online Tinfoil hat guys are paranoid . I really hate when people talk like this. With that being said I'm just telling you what I experienced on my own, without ever hearing of such things prior. only after I noticed it happening did I take notice.

I know some very smart logical, respectable, successful NON superstitious players, who talk about the same things. People thought I was crazy when I played at Absolute and ultimatebet and swore up and down people could see my cards. I know a group of guys that invested in an online poker site. The software provider offered them 3 diffident kinds of software. One of the options created situations that would generate more rake.

I didn't need the wizard to tell me Casino Bar was cheating, I realized it right after they opened and my first time playing it.
when you have seen things such as. Gaming control approve video poker machines in Nevada, that were intentionally gaffed not to hit 5 coin royals.
When you know there have been glitches in numerous machines in legitimate United state casinos and so many more online how can you just say anyone that makes such claims should not be taken seriously.

Cheating exists, but all you can do is assess the situation as accurately as possible, and act accordingly. The problem with government regulation is the overhead it creates that can render the games reliably fair, but unbeatable. I think if there were less government interference, the industry would ultimately evolve effective self-regulation, but there's been too much turmoil, and the industry is still formative.

I haven't personally seen evidence of the cashout curse, but I've been mostly inactive since Black Friday.
