It's been about 7 years since I was trespassed at strip casino at one of the major chains. I happened to be staying at the property next door so even though I never showed ID, they got my name and cleared out all of my accounts. It was surprising as it was my first heat at the casin, I was only betting greens and just doing basic counting. But I was also probably fairly careless with cover.

Has anyone ever been able to undo a trespass in a situation like this, especially with a ton of time passing? How would one be able to contact their security folks?

Normally you would contact the director of security at most property brands. If you had a casino host there, he or she could also initiate that request.

Don’t be combative with them. Cite a misunderstanding, apologize, praise their property, and add numerous friends of yours frequent the property and you would appreciate any consideration they can award you.

I have seen many reversed over my years working at a casino.

I have been 86'ed and have had it reversed on one occasion, but it might not be promising.

Basically, I was 86'ed from one casino, give or take, eight years ago for something that would be of concern to the marketing department. After calling and speaking to the Director of Security to discuss the matter, she said that the incident wasn't of any real concern to her department and she wouldn't have a problem with undoing it, but it would have to be fine with the Director of Marketing. The Director of Marketing did not call back despite repeated messages.

A few years later, the casino changed ownership. The wording of the state law (not that the judge cared) is that a person is only committing defiant trespass if they have been trespassed by the owner of the property or an agent of the owner. Since the casino had changed hands, I hadn't. Further, I was welcome at all of the other properties of the new owners...and I may have also called and asked a random security guard and went with his answer because he answered the way I wanted.

Eventually, I was found there and 86'ed again and charged with defiant trespass---BOO!

A few years after that, we had Covid...so even though the Director of Marketing hadn't responded to my messages before, I figured he couldn't be too busy with the casino completely closed and decided to give him a call. He answered on the third ring and decided to revoke my ban, mostly because it had been so long anyway. There may have also been a stipulation not to be doing anything along the lines of what got me banned the first time.

Even if another department was the initiator of the banning and all the security department did was issue and serve you the ban, IMO it is always best to start with the Director of Security.

How come you add a bunch of underscores to the end of all of your sentences?

Just be humble, apologize for any misunderstanding and ask to be allowed on property.

Don’t mention counting cards. IMO,

Play innocent. Just say you're coming into Vegas and really liked that casino and that you're not sure why they banned you. If she asks if it was for card counting, say something like, "I think they said something like that, but I don't even know how...I was just betting more because I was losing and trying to get back even."

It's a serious long-shot, but asking why you were banned to begin with (if you get ahold of the person at all) probably gives the best chance since you can think on your feet and base your tactics on what the other person says.

It's contrary to my experiences for a strip casino to trespass a green chipper, without first backing them off. Are you sure you were trespassed? Without any earlier incidents?
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

CET properties on the strip, at least in the modern era, are typically trespass on first offense regardless of stakes. Cleared all of accounts tells me it was likely the French themed place or the place next door.

You have the right to feel that way.

But that is not the way to ‘trick’ them into allowing a banned player back in.

And don’t forget, it’s not always the security departments doing in the first place.
