Hello everyone,

I'll be heading up to Reno this weekend to play some BJ. I've heard that Reno is notorious for its heat. However, it seems to me that the pit/security at Circus Circus is the most lax at any casino I've ever been to. Has anyone had any experience counting there recently? Any other Reno tips/tricks/suggestions are welcome!

Thanks all

Just got backed off there a couple weeks ago. If u are a known AP they have a book. Circus circus el dorado and silver legacy are all the same properties same owner. Throw bombs and don't get afraid of a back off. You're gonna get backed off no matter what.

Don't try anything as small as 3x at Cal Neva down the street either. if you get away with anything, hit and run....quickly.

Now the Cal Neva I know not to try anything at, that place is extremely sweaty. I do enjoy going there and playing BS because I enjoy the atmosphere and drink service though.

In case anyone is wondering, the Sands changed the rules on their single deck game. It's now double on any two original cards, not just 10/11.

Ok I will have to do a little digging on my own.
Just wanted to know if it's someone I really need to avoid.

The Circus Circus pit is closed.

Sands Regency has a new manager who is an idiot. He allows people to play despite the supervisor and survellience confirming a card counter. At the end of the month, management will get the monthly report and see they lost tens of thousands of dollars at the tables and do something (unless they're idiots too).

Single deck is 6:5.

Double deck is 3:2, dealer hits soft 17, double on 10-11 only but can double after split, no surrender.

One guy recently took the casino for $20,000 in three days.
