I'm experimenting with Target Betting. It relies on two winning hands in a row to get a player ahead of even. I have two questions if anyone can answer them:

1. Over a million hands, what is the longest consecutive streak of wins not followed by a second consecutive win?
2. What is the average number of losses in a single win streak like this (losses during the single win streak)?

I'm hoping this will give me some idea of the bankroll I'd need to weather an excessively long stream of single wins without a second consecutive win.

I'm experimenting with Target Betting.

If the Target involves acid and water
never add water to acid
always add acid to water (I have seen this done in a swimming pool)

If the Target DOES NOT involve acid and water
and you are doing experiments in the game of Blackjack to win money

that is so sad I would thinks
as there are already many methods of play to be a lifetime - longer run winner at BJ than Target.

Ah yes...

the wait time for a run of length 2 (2 in a row)
The standard deviation is almost the average number of trials
in other words, one could WAIT a VERY VERY LONG time just to see 2 in a row and NO size of Bankroll can be safe
this can be shown to be true by math and simulations

I was under the impression that Target Betting works much better at Baccarat than BJ
Lots of money could, in theory, be won before the first disaster shows up
good stuff
