This is among other changes aimed at making the property more reasonably priced.

Other changes at Wynn/Encore include complimentary bottled water in guest rooms, complimentary self-parking for all hotel guests, domestic beer and sodas sold at standard, non-premium hotel prices (including hotel room minibars), and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi capable of video calls and file downloads.

These changes aren't necessarily minor. We generally don't touch the mini bar on general principles of not giving in to that sort of extorted outrageous prices, but I have seen mini bar charges of pushing $500. for my guests where they are unaware that even a soda might cost $15., a miniature liquor bottle, almost $25.

In general, if you want to know who is staying in a comp'ed room, look at the mini bar charges. The high roller won't even touch it, but his guests, especially the younger ones, will!

Speaking of tie bets, I hit one for $10K ($80K payout) recently. "How did you know?"

I bet it only a few times the entire shoe....

On a major roll lately, up in the neighborhood of +$400K at just one of the Majors alone.

Nice run. Take away the K and I’m on the same run you are!

Are you going to the Race this year? The buzz about it seems to be missing…..

The run continues. Across two different casinos now.

We’ve arrived in October or earlier and stayed through Christmas before not sure if will this year.

At F1 the paddocks are where it’s at last year was at one of them also have viewed from the T Mobile Grandstands. In either case it’s just about a few seconds of screaming cars racing by then nothing much until the next passing. More interesting (to us) than NASCAR races but not die hard racing fans and don’t appreciate the traffic and street reroutes before and after the race.

Watching F1 in a movie like Grand Prix (1966) was in some ways more entertaining (to me) than the actual race but it’s still cool to be here during it and experience the event.
