"Cheque" is a casino issued redeemable gambling chip (without ridges).
There are enough words, meanings, and spellings that sound alike in this context to be obnoxiously confusing. Confound that with the usual term on the player side of the table being "casino chip" rather than "cheque", and wacky fun ensues.

Also relevant are calls like "foreign cheque", "cheque change 5000", or "cheque down". There may be others, but they don't come to mind.
As for poker players, tournament chips are not cheques.

I hear that pretty much only when it’s “to the limit” at the high end casinos I play at. Actually you don’t even hear the “checks play” as much as just “to the limit.” At someplace like TI, which ceased to be high end once MGM sold it, a dealer will still say “checks play” and turn to look at the pit boss over just a couple grand.

I have played a lot of Blackjack, I don't think I have ever heard them call "foreign cheque". I know what you are referring to, but that is not the terminology that I remember.

Didn’t take much of a break.
Just goes to prove that partial comebacks are good too and if I’d stopped the second session where I lost -$250K at a half recovery I’d be UP now between these two days. But I wanted it ALL back at once.

Exact repeat except…I got down a half mill before making the comeback.
I was up about +120K when I took a major spill downwards losing like -600K then recovered mightily. Heart thumping action.

We used to read of daily gains or losses in the low thousands or even hundreds.
Are you conscious of the huge change in scale? Does it bother you at all? Don't you consider a $750k loss a bit of a tilt?
Even with an advantage, one's bankroll can get slaughtered by a bad run of luck.

Definitely true that I resumed play 6 or so years ago with the intention of simply playing for comps and that my average bet has ballooned exponentially.
If I lost a million first day of a trip I’d be hurting for sure but fortunately the losses have come towards the end of this trip and been eclipsed by the wins. Still it does prove that no matter what advantage (or run of luck) if pushing hard a big loss is inevitable.
Maybe what’s more interesting than losing a lot in a session is that it doesn’t bother me all that much I just think about “well I still won a lot in the last month.” If it bothered me a lot I’d think that I need to win it all back and go back to the max win level for this trip and instead I mostly gave up and resumed lower level play. Lower level than the recent sessions where I won or lost a lot I mean.
I actually am taking a break right now was playing every day for a while there.

Just saw the new Season of Legends promo on Player City... is it actually worth the grind?
I played the last Evoplay campaign and it was decent, but this one has a €512,000 prize pool which sounds kind of insane. I joined yesterday just to check it out and didn’t expect to actually enjoy the games this much lol.
Has anyone here actually hit one of those €1,000 daily Infinity Prize Drops yet? I’m lowkey hooked already but I want to know if the rewards are as good as they look. If it's anything like their last one it should be solid. cutt ly/QtUTwgaX
