Additional changes include the ability for more casinos, more machines, and more total tables in the state.
The only item I was wondering about that I couldn't find was the current maximum bet limits for different games and if they would be adjusted. Currently $35 a play for electronic games, $600 per bet in poker, and $1,300 at a game like blackjack.

I was looking through the new compact and this section talks about bet limits:
Quote:
(m) Wager Limitations.
(1) Wagers for each authorized form of Class III gaming shall be limited in a
mutually agreed-upon Appendix setting forth the standards, specifications
and regulations governing the applicable Gaming Activity.
(2) Increases in wager limitations. During the term of this Compact, the
wager limitations for each authorized Gaming Activity as set forth in the
relevant Appendix governing such activity may be increased upon written
agreement of the parties.
Looks like the limits will be changing. There is currently no published appendix with actual bet limits yet, but I bet it will be published on the ADG tribal gaming page when it's finalized.
Another interesting section are the max number of tables allowed for the newly authorized games. These initial limits will increase by 5% every 5 years automatically without an updated compact.
Quote:
Subject to the terms and conditions of this Compact, the
Tribe is authorized to operate up to:
(A) four (4) keno games per Gaming Facility;
(B) eight (8) craps tables within each Gaming Facility;
(C) eight (8) roulette tables within each Gaming Facility;
(D) eight (8) baccarat tables within each Gaming Facility;
(E) four (4) sic bo games per Gaming Facility; and
(F) four (4) pai gow tile games per Gaming Facility.
Legal wager limits are going up massively. Gaming devices have been increased to a $10,000 limit and table games to a $100,000 limit. Not sure about poker.
The new games except sports betting should start going live within the next few weeks. Sports betting will probably go live around September.
Just in time for college and NFL football, respectively.
Gila River Casinos also announced that they will be opening a 4th casino, just south of Chandler, right by a residential neighborhood.

Do they offer slots and VP yet?Quote: zulacasinoIt's interesting to see Arizona expanding its gambling options, allowing for sports betting and a wider range of casino games. The increased casino capacity and table limits might attract more visitors and boost the state's economy, but it will also be important to manage potential risks associated with gambling.

Yes, they have offered VP and slots since I first went there ten years ago. Harrah's Ak-Chin seems to only offer VP below 99% RTP but they have lots of slot progressives and bubble craps. The vpfree2 says there are 16 casinos in AZ.Quote: AxelWolfDo they offer slots and VP yet?Quote: zulacasinoIt's interesting to see Arizona expanding its gambling options, allowing for sports betting and a wider range of casino games. For those of us not in AZ, do you have any recommendations for online casinos to try our luck on instead?
Sorry, I was thinking about their online environment. I know they have sports betting online.Quote: MentalYes, they have offered VP and slots since I first went there ten years ago.
