Quote: BozInteresting story in the RJ. Passed this place a few times on the ride to Laughlin and often thought of stopping but never did. Also a head turner on how she married her stepson.

My wife and I stop there every time we go to Laughlin. For those not familiar it is a dump of a little bar, a diner, a post office, a gourmet room, and the airport terminal that I have never seen a plane land at. It seems to be the focus of the little town that consists of a bunch of trailers.
BTW, they still have Sneak-A-Peek poker.

Drich the casino is just a couple of slot machines at this point right? No BJ or poker tables even if they were just closed when you were there?

Yes, just slot machines. I would guess there are about 25 slot machines total.

I don't think there has been in the last 15 years that I have been stopping there.
When I was there, I saw one BJ table against a wall, with maybe something displayed on top. From a brief conversation with someone behind a counter there, my understanding was that the table hadn't been used in years, but that if I really, really wanted a chip, I might be able to convince the owner to dig one up. My impression was that perhaps it would necessitate that I offer the "right" price. I didn't follow up on that.
Quote: DocI believe that both rdw4potus and I have stopped by there hoping to get souvenir chips -- perhaps other collectors around here, too.

If that price is $1 then I'm in!
;-)

;-)
I would probably just play a slot machine. I have only ended up in this situation once before. I visited Casino White Cloud in Kansas and when I got there they had permanently replaced their live tables with E-BJ. I played the FP they gave me and then a cashier offered to sell me a chip since they still had them locked up in the vault. I happily bought one. In my mind I both visited and gambled in that casino so that satisfies me for it to be part of my collection.
