Cal-Nev-Ari Casino (& Town) For Sale

Sorry for the confusion, I meant the VLC machine. I'm sure service on the WMS machine is easy.

I still think about my 2019 trip to Cal-Nev-Ari.

Recently, I looked up the Cal-Nev-Ari casino/restaurant on Yelp and saw that it's permanently closed. The post office location appears to have moved across the road.

Google News has no news about the town's co-founder, Nancy Kidwell, who would be 88 years old this year.

I used to stop there just about every time that I went to Laughlin. They had the last Sneak-A-Peek poker. About ten years ago the whole place was for sale including the bar, restaurant, post office, and airport.

I stopped in there once, just to say I did. Four years later, I went back to show two friends. The waitress remembered me from my last visit. The trip to Laughlin is much shorter now, as there are at least two lanes in each direction, and truck traffic uses the bridge over the dam, so it is more of a straight shot. There is less reason to make a stop.

For arcade/casino game collectors like me, I wonder where those machines went! They're a part of gaming history!

If it didn't go to the dump, I would guess the glass and chips were changed to a different Sigma game.
