That hasn't been explained by either property yet. A provisional tier match would be a good idea for both, but I think they're both going to roll it out for the full year.

I'll be there as well, staying at both properties. It will be a mad house, but I am really looking forward to it. We're going to Pitbull on Saturday night too, which should be fun.

As for the +EV opportunities, yep, I'm sure they'll be around. What is different here than most property openings is we won't see inexperienced dealers making mistakes. On the plus side to this, having a nice seasoned table games crew dealing clean and fast games.

I missed something, then. How will both casinos have
seasoned crews?
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Aside from that, does anyone know if Ocean plans to keep the Sky Garden intact from Revel with the pine trees and the firepits, accessible from the hotel hallway without going through the pool? That was one of my favorite places in AC.

Someone on Ocean Resort Casino's facebook page asked this question about the Sky Garden returning. The Ocean representative said it is indeed returning.

On a side note, they're marketing that they are a pet-friendly property (dogs only, under 50 pounds) and have taken two lower floors and dedicated them to pet friendly rooms. They've even come up with a fun name for the pet relief area, Central Bark. The fee to bring Fido down to Ocean for a getaway is $150 per stay.

With the closings of properties, layoffs, etc in the AC market both properties pretty much had their pick of experienced table games dealers. Hard Rock had a hiring event just for previous Taj Mahal table games staff, giving them first priority for available positions.

I guess I should clarify, I am not guaranteeing you will see expert dealers throughout both properties, but for sure this is not going to be PA where 90% of dealers were fresh out of school when they introduced table games there. In fact, I'd say it's the opposite, 90% or more are joining these two new properties from another property with experience. It's worth mentioning the CEO of Ocean Resort was once the VP of Table Games and then became the VP of Gaming Operations at the Taj and took a lot of his former colleagues with him.

Again, speculation, but I'd bet on this one.

Their website is a joke at the moment. None of the restaurants are listed. However, don't lose any sleep, Cereal Town is still coming.

Good reporting, thanks,

I wonder if there is a scale for the dogs at the check-in counter to make sure they're under 50 lbs.
