Bob,I think you're in charge, you were nominated as "acting wizard", nobody said no
-you should really do something about this?

Maybe lower your expectations & run for mayor of DC, Toronto or AC?

Too much or too little to be a wizard?
Just proves that I made a wise decision coming here and bidding farewell to TA.
I give this post an hour. Tee hee!
I do think that they got rid of the Platinum line but my point here is, I would have liked to have some feedback on what others have found out first hand. And Jerry, I'm sure you know, just because it's still listed on the website doesn't mean CET can't change perks for a specific tier at any time.
Quote: MrsHeartRNWell the old TA board is at it again. The one post I was most interested in about the eliminating some of the Platinum lines and perks was closed. How is that not travel related. I'm sure if the topic was how great it is to be platinum status and list all the pluses it would stay up!
Just proves that I made a wise decision coming here and bidding farewell to TA.
TA removed a mention of potential inconvenience for travelers with Platinum Status, yet, lists this as one of their officially approved "Top questions about Atlantic City":
"What is LFB/RFB at the CZR/Harrah's casinos?"
So, there must be far more "LFB/RFB" AC travelers, vs Platinum, in the opinion of TripConiver?

Why no more Platinum tier?-*Saved for prosperity- thread gone seconds after I posted - by EZ? Dave
"I also don't understand why that thread was deleted. What was the reason listed—by some anonymous “Community members” or by TA staff?
I think most likely it was by anonymous “members”! Sadly, I suspect there have recently been some [trolls/losers?] out there who want to disrupt this forum whenever they can—for what ever their fun may be?
And Hi Tiffany ~ Thanks for your post about the CZR casino Platinum player level question. As noted, any definitive changes need more information—But that is no reason for your original post to have been inappropriate!"
How is this post travel related? (note- OP's post deleted seconds after this post)
- a TA DE , in whatever state of inebriation, is trying to pump this
as far as we know, this is limited to purchases via 800Flowers -NOT - a CET multiplier as he promotes

What Baymont is doing is simply keeping the city inspectors at bay. They are always under construction but little is being done to refurbish the place.
They just have "workers" moving things around but very little is actually being done. But the inspectors are not swift enough to catch on to this.....
Here is a better deal. At least 2 slots pros are willing to put you up for a room at these rates:
Weeknight: $30.
Weekend (Fri or Sat) $100.
You'll pay him/her cash at check in. Of course, you use your own credit card for the room deposit. I think it's a fair deal, right guys?

Didn't some of those same "area experts" assure us Revel would be the SCOM (second coming of the messiah)
tee hee y'all
I would like Travel to AC again soon , however, I realize I may not speak the native language spoken by "destination experts"...
what does this mean & why should it convince me to return to AC?
>>it beats the time and effort and worry of going to an offsite location to save three or four dollars<< Oh Mah Garsh! I'd never spend the >>the fees are abhorrent<< This one time, in bandcamp... [tee~hee]. Was with family at the Irish Pub & we forgot cash. The only person with cash was my Niece who had over $150 because she'd gotten her 1st paycheck. EVER. We all wanted to borrow $ to pay the bill because of Irish Pub's ATM >>the fees are abhorrent<< AND. She didn't want to give up the money [even though it was just for minutes till we got to our banks on the island]. I gave her a choice: either give up the money that she'll get back after the bank visits. OR. Wait at the Irish Pub as collateral until we got back from our banks ATMs. She gave up the cash
Huh????

Im going to request that this topic be closed. To the OP i apolgize. If ypu have any questions please feel free to PM us. But defently check out thenaquarium.
The above was posted by a destination expert. Seems people warning potential visitors of the blight, crime, danger etc. of Camden was just a little to much for him.
Since you are now on an open forum , I hope you feel free to explain something.
The vast majority of your posts on the TA AC forum have been deleted since they only speculated on how soon a topic would be deleted.
If you have an interest in AC, why not post some content there -vs the obsession by which 90%+ of your AC posts regard censorship of other members on a board for which you are not a "Destination Expert"?
Welcome to the board!
http://www.tripadvisor.com/members-forums/AERULES
Quote: aerulesDave a poster was giving inaccurate info about the area as you have in the past. As you can see from the post the thread had gotten way off topic. If you are such an expert on Camden safety how come you never reply on the Camden forum?
If a single poster giving inaccurate info (aka info I personally disagree with) on a topic is justification for closing a topic then about 99% of the topics on this forum would be closed:) Here you post your rebuttal and let the reader decide who is correct.
I know you don't like topics that "CAN" or "TEND TO" become conversational but that is exactly what some topics need and deserve. What I don't get is why you can post lyrics to a Fleetwood Mac song and NOT essential travel related information on casino closings, the safety of the casino and area along with changes in services.
I have left that board, where I've personally met many lovely people but will not post with the fear of deletion, censorship and most of all bullying. I have always tried to post helpful and relevant information, it's TA's and their member's loss that I no longer post there due to the censorship.
vs "Im going to request that this topic be closed. To the OP i apolgize. "???Quote: aerulesI have no power on TA either

Quote: aerulesI do not urge other posters to close posts. I report inappropriate and that is it
You report inappropriate...and then post "I give this an hour",
knowing full well that it will be deleted based on your reporting.
I think that's the point...if a DE reports a post as inappropriate it gets deleted and the topic closed,
everybody else gets ignored, but ten thousand band camp stories just keep on coming (tee-hee...I typed coming).
Oh Ma Garsh...why such a need to report so much anyway?
What's it to you if the travel relevance is dubious, or threads become chatty?
Since you are here, why not take advantage of the opportunity to offer a tip, observation, or opinion, re AC... with the comfort of knowing you may do so without needing to impose your own stringent filters on your own thoughts.
For years you have taken upon yourself to protect us from what you believed we should NOT know about AC.
As a sort of "big brother", concerned about limiting our exposure to your interpretation of what we need to know about AC, why not share just one of your thoughts about AC - besides why our posts should be censored?
If you just "police" member's thoughts by removing them, & offer no content replacing them, have you really accomplished your goal?
BTW - just wondering, are you "aerules" or "AERULES"?
It surprises me that someone with your precision re adhering to standards would vary from an established handle.
I only ask since an AC DE, impersonating another DE, already posted here in the same tone as your few posts here.
It turned out he was a fan of Belgian beer, as is EZDave, but not who he said he was ?
Belgian beer seems to be a thing with DE's, or one DE pretending to be another DE?
Do you enjoy Belgian beer "aerules" or "AERULES"?
what would inspire that -after all these years of "censorshipcentric" posting??? LOL (&sonofagun EZDave returns to the board???)
-didn't groundhog day pass?

If you buy $50 in merchandise from them the parking is free. Almost like Caesars earn 25 reward points for free parking.
They are trying to keep their small lot for their customers and not for the rest of the outlets shoppers.
If you and your family feel perfectly safe there I have no problem with that. But to recommend such a place to a total stranger and a solo woman traveler at that, Hell no!

And there are many more examples of crime both at Walter Rand and America's most dangerous city, Camden N.J.
I can see the poor woman now shortly after getting off the bus at Walter Rand.

I found this definition of political correctness.
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

The area around the aquarium is fine. I've visited at least five times, walked from City Hall, visited the bar across the street from the aquarium, and never had a single problem. What's your issue? I think people know to be aware of their surroundings in any city.
