Has anyone ever been to the Casino de Montreal?

Can anyone report on what Casino de Montreal has?

And are operations affected by the pandemic?

I have been several times but all pre pandemic.
It’s a 3 story casino which was built in the old expo67 building.
They had most of the usual table games and machines that you would find in your average U.S. casino
I never ate at the casino, so I can’t comment on the food.
The mountain is tall but grass grows on top of the mountain.

Fascinating. According to news articles the casino has 521 unionized dealers, and they've just gone on strike. The casino appears to be advertising that they are keeping 8 gaming tables open during the strike, but that the poker room will likely be closed. They are also announcing that they are recruiting! Lol

Canada is officially bilingual. When they post a sign in one language, don't they have to post it in the second one as well?

I can't imagine how busy the table felts are with all those multiple signs. Think Mississippi Stud, but with twice the postings.

Are the dealers required to be fluent in English and French?

Canada the country is bilingual. Each Province has its own official language (some have both french and english). The only official language in Quebec, where Montreal is located is french. The dealers are all able to speak english for tourists and asians. As for the casino, it got lockdown pretty hard during covid now its fully opened. This casino is big, lots of table games and slots. They also have Holdem poker.

the blackjack rules are as follow;
8 decks
H17
DA2
DAS
Split to 4
3/2 BJ for 25$+ 6/5 BJ for lower bets

You can wong in and out, no heat whatsoever

Beatable sidebets includes;
Lucky Ladies and a copy cat that I don't remember the name
Blazing 7s

As for slots, they have lots of beatable games also but lots of competition.
