The coins came back to reality this week, though a winning season P&L is still well within the realm of possibility. 1/3 of the way and the raw result is still a win. Amazing to me is the number of pushes, someone call the boys at Bodog and explain the concept of the half-point line.

Goofy things players say
First time I was dealing MC Night in some time. It is good to see that while I was gone player comments have not changed. Here is a little gem from last night:(Player gets A-? and takes a hit. I think he got to soft 18)
ME: "8 or 18, sir"
PLAYER: "Do I have to choose now?"
No wonder the pit bosses say to dummy up and deal.

Yes, you see if you choose not to take this next card then it belongs to the next player and we simply can't keep in suspense too long.
@Flea: not what he meant. He actually meant he didn't want to take a card but did he have to choose if he wanted his A to be 1 or 11! I can verify this because he actually asked me, "as a dealer, how do you know if the A is worth 1 or 11?"
This was almost as bad as the woman who told me "well that is how they do it in Vegas" when she didn't like my answer to the table rules but later took a hit on a 20 for the third time (after I warned/reminded her twice that was it) and told her friend, "an A is worth 1 or 11 but you *always* want it to be worth 1." She gets my vote for worst player I ever saw because she knew how to play the game. The kid above was HS of early college age and new to the game.
