Hi,
I recently came across the Wizard's Excel spreadsheet in which he recreates blackjack basic strategy from scratch for an S17 game with infinite decks, surrender on any card, DAS allowed, no resplits, dealer peeks for BJ. As a new member, I am unable to post the links, but a quick search on Youtube will direct to the spreadsheet and the accompanying videos posted by the Wizard. If you haven't seen it already, its really interesting and definitely worth the watch.

My question is how would one go about in adapting this sheet so that the dealer does not peek for BJ? I have tried a couple of times now but it doesn't seem right. The strategy looks to be ok, but the house edge goes to 0.26%

Any help is much appreciated,
Dieter

Convenient link to the video:

And a link to a possibly useful thread:

I haven't looked at the spreadsheet in years; hopefully someone can suggest what to adapt.
May the cards fall in your favor.

You probably already now this, but the basic strategy changes^^^ for the game the OP mentioned should just be:

1) Hit 11 vs 10 (ENHC) instead of Double.

2) Hit 8-8 vs A or 10 (ENHC) instead of Split.

3) Hit A-A vs A (ENHC) instead of Split.

^^^: If necessary, please correct, or add any other changes.

Note: This post is mainly to help people who are good at excel (spreadsheets) but maybe don't know blackjack basic strategy as well, or at all.
