I'm looking to rent a small space for a few months.
Somewhere on the East side of the Valley 800-1200 SQ Feet. For storage of items, no food, no automotive, no repairs.
Saw a place with an overhead door for $800 for 910 SQ ft. I think I can do better.

How much better are you trying to do?

How much access do you need?

As well as possible. I don't need 24 hour access . Something like 9-9 works fine. The one for $800 is part retail. Not looking for that.

Google is your friend, my friend.

10x50 for $120/Mo.

At that rate, split up your stuff into two units!

That's a parking space.

Although you can get 10x30's for a couple hundred each per month.

I have a 10X30, and a 10X10. I can get a second 10X30 a spot away from my first, but for not much more I'm hoping to find a small warehouse, with electricity and a bathroom of some sort. I found a 910 SQ foot retail/ backroom/office suite but not crazy about the location- it's right across from the airport and not looking for retail space.
Max offered me something but it wasn't the right fit, for now. It's appreciated.
By the way- Month three on Nurtisystem. I don't follow it 100%, but its still helping me lose weight.

Just about any system will help you lose weight.

Bill, keep looking. There is so much unused commercial space on the market right now that I am pretty sure you will find a better deal. Obviously the hard part is finding something without a one year commitment.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Yep, it just sucks not having connections out here. In Queens, I'd literally have my choice of dozens of spots.

Even though you don't really want a retail space, I've seen storefronts in struggling mini-mall type buildings rent for next to nothing without needing to sign for a full year. Just make sure they allow you to black out the front windows and not operate it as a retail space, and that the building isn't struggling because it's in disrepair.
