What is wizard's definition of "betting system"

Now to answer your question if you care. I think counting is counting but when you vary your bet I think that constitutes as a betting system. Although I am not Wizard so you probably don't care.

Consider: You have A9, dealer has KQ, push. Or, with the same four starting cards, you have AK, dealer has Q9, player blackjack. Or, you have K9, dealer has AQ, dealer blackjack. The rest of the deck is identical in all three scenarios, and card counting treats those three scenarios the same. The outcome-correlation technique doesn't.
The point is that if you can keep track of wins/losses/pushes/naturals, you can also keep track of high and low cards.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think a betting system is designed to recoup losses. The Martingale is such a typical system.
Personally, I press bets when I'm winning, but do nothing to recoup losses (except to hope my luck changes).
As such, I would call my method a strategy, correlated to prior wins, and winning streaks.
