Welcome Back Nathan

Nathan (Karen) asked me to make the following statement. Around Aug/Sep she made small loans from me and other forum members. When she couldn't pay them back, I suggested she not post until she did. The alternative would have been a forced suspension. She agreed.

About a week ago she paid me back and I'm told all other forum members except one. That other loan is not due until Nov 24, so she is still complaint with that one.

The question for the poll is which is your favorite Nathan handle?

If it took Nathan months to repay such a small amount and she needs more weeks to repay an even smaller sum to Wolf, I believe she should consider not gambling at all.

Look - Kerry Packer won and lost millions but he was a billionaire, and a pretty liquid one at that. If it takes anyone this long to repay a few hundred dollars then one should consider whether one may even afford to gamble.

All of this is posted with due respect to Nathan, and looking out for her best interests.

Popeye cartoons were extremely popular when I was a kid in the 1950s and I never knew what this meant until somebody explained it to me. Ever since then I've been very very careful about loaning money because even the best of intentions quite often don't work out.

Thank you for the warm welcome back, Wizard! 🥰 I was being seen as a Welcher when I paid MOST of the loans back and only have the November 22nd (Not November 24th, I reread the terms of the loan) left ☢️ Thank you for setting the record straight that I did pay back most of the loans. 🥰 About gambling, I must admit, I was gambling HARD in order to get praise and kudos from WOV and be seen as an Advantage Player, ouch! ☢️ I am now focusing on not playing hard to get praise and kudos and be seen as an Advantage Player on WOV 💡 And playing how I REALLY want to play, not playing how I THINK will impress WOV and get me kudos and praise. There is a big difference between playing .50 slot bets and playing $50 Roulette spins! ☢️💡

I never claimed she owed me money, however, I normally give a nice grace period for people paying me back.. so if I did loan her money, I'm certain she would still be within that grace period.

Heck, if she just posted on the forum without this thread, I doubt I would have even commented. I didn't even know there was some kind of posting restriction imposed on her.

If I was in her situation, I would have contacted anyone I still owed money to and discussed it before I went to Mike and asked to be allowed to post.

This seems easy. If she owes someone money but the terms are she doesn’t have to pay it back until November 22 then it’s a big nothing NOW. Welcome back. Frankly, since the loan was not made in open forum here on WoV, I don’t see why she should be banned if she doesn’t pay that loan back. It may be in bad form, but should not be a WoV concern. If it is a result of a WoV mentioned bet, to me, that’s different.

She used WoV messages to ask for the loans. That makes it my business. I do not want welchers on my forum.

Personally I would have liked to have Nathan back on the condition she ONLY post as Moonsovermyhammy. It’s just objectively a better name and makes the forum better since no one else can now use it, amirite?

If you want to be an AP and don't have money, you should be apprenticing with the masters, not borrowing money and doing whatever. They will tell you what to play and how to play it.

If you are a female you are able to get away with things in the social environment of a casino that the rest of us can not. Very useful things, especially to a team that practices the darker arts.
