We see the same "handles" on boards for years and get to learn a bit about the posters from their posts and that's fine, but I was thinking it might be interesting if we shared our hobbies and interests.

I'll got first.

I'm an audiophile: three separate high end stereo systems (bedroom, garage, listening room) and a dedicated home theater.

Automobile repair and maintenance.

Collector of vintage Dinky Toys.

Health and ftiness (walking, biking, working out at a health club regularly).

Reading mass market fiction.

Playing ladderball in the back yard.

Cannabis.

And of course family, but that should be a given.

Golf hustler here

I can go as low as needed to get the cash, and I always leave the sucker thinking I "just got lucky"

Otherwise, I just read books—about 110 per year.

Being a disturbing force on forums and holding the "math" accountable.

These days, I mostly listen to fascinating podcasts while I drive around. Sometimes I read stuff or talk to people.

Variously, in the past, photography, darkroom, electronics hobbyist (building stuff with solder), computer "stuff", making simple flutes, various home improvement projects, coffee roasting, espresso (I have a fairly nice Cunill grinder), resurfacing cast iron cookware... a ridiculous amount of "maker" interests, before that was a thing.

I do not collect antique Geiger counters.
May the cards fall in your favor.

Nothing much for me!

IT Technician by trade, and that's most of my day pretty much.

When I am not doing that, I am either playing video games or planning railfan outings.
I occasionally do other things such as hiking and bike riding, but usually work keeps me busy that I do not have time to do those things.

I gamble of course, not an AP, though I know "in theory" how to vulture some slots and such, at my bankroll though I can't really do anything.

My hobbies have changed greatly since I was younger.

- Playing poker, mostly tournaments. I play in the WSOP circuit events in Cherokee, NC and in a recurring private game/tournament
- Acting. I'm in my third community theater play in the past 9 months. I also had a small speaking role in a feature-length film produced in Atlanta, that will be released in 2023. The film's trailer was just released and I'm in the trailer for about 4-5 seconds - hey, I even speak a line in the trailer! I mean, pinch me!
- hobbyist mathematics
- movies
- reading (fantasy, history, science and math)
- hiking (although less and less)
- moderating this forum (a backwards way of learning about mental illness, including my own, lol)

I'm guessing that not many forum members have golf as a hobby. i certainly don't.

Are you also obsessive compulsive? You posted that twice.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Moderators do have a tiny amount of power- such as the ability to make a duplicate post disappear. I have drawn the appropriate chalk circles and inscribed the ancient runes, and my post is now a singleton.
