I used that word a long time ago and got a 3. Seen wordle predictied a lot of failure so tried that word. My only other guess could have been tizzy after fuzzy but wasn't sure how to spell it. Back to my regular scheduled program tonight

From a scrabble perspective, JAZZY scores 33 points.

I am sure someone with a database can answer -- which Wordle word scores highest in scrabble?

OK, I found a link showing JAZZY (33 points) is the second highest scoring 5 letter scrabble word. PZAZZ is higher, at 34 points.

I don't mean to get technical but their is only one z tile in a Scrabble game. Their are two blanks but they each score zero points so jazzy would not be second highest legal word in Scrabble

Of course, but I am using Scrabble scoring on Wordle words just to give a benchmark for how obscure they are. PZAZZ = 34, JAZZY = 33 ... and PZAZZ isn't in the short list of allowable Wordle words, so JAZZY is it. And of course, if you want to get technical, there are two blanks, so you could put down PZAZZ if you held the two blanks.

The only question with respect to this thread (not some other thread about Scrabble rules) is how rare the Wordle word is using scrabble scoring. There are LOTS of sites that do stuff just like I did, including:

Kindly note that "JAZZY" is the highest scoring Scrabble word at 33 points on this list that is also in the restricted Wordle list. "PZAZZ" is not in the restricted Wordle list, but if it was, it would score 34 points.

If you want to debate more about Scrabble, I would kindly ask you to create a new thread for that or ask the moderators to split this thread. It is entirely off-topic to a Wordle thread, in my opinion.

Anyone who has done crosswords knows this word

I admit I looked at this site for a list of words that end in i, as I was stone cold stumped. There was only one that started with E and had an N as the middle letter, what I played. Maybe my vocabulary is not very good, but I have never heard this word before.
