My friend is going to AC tonight to play Pai Gow Poker. He'd like to know what to expect in terms of minimums for Pai Gow Poker because it can get high there on the weekends.
Any ideas? Thanks.

It depends where you're staying, but I would think on a Friday night you're looking at $20 or $25 minimum, with a potential to be $50.

Everywhere I've seen is $20, with the bright yellow chips.

I was there this week, it was mostly $20, although Resorts and Tropicana were $25. Showboat may have been $15.

Considering the relatively slow pace, and that nearly half of all hands result in a push, you can't really complain about $25 minimums.
I invented a few casino games. Info:

In the old days you could go up to a $5 table with your bucket of quarters and play until the tray overflowed.

I never see it under $20 or $25 depending on the casino and whether they use $20 chips. Lately, I've seen mini baccarat going for $15 at Trop and Bally's at slower times. My eyes might have been deceiving me, but I thought I even saw a empty $15 mini baccarat table at Caesars early on a slow Saturday morning...
