Hi.

Ive been looking for information on blackjack conditions in the St Louis area.... Rules, penetration, min / max bet.

All the data I've found online is quite old.

Does anyone have any information or know where I can get it?

Also, I heard a few people say Missouri casinos allow counting. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks.

"Current Blackjack News" is a good resource about blackjack conditions throughout the US and Canada.

The sample looks good. Thank you for the link.

If there are any locals who know where the best games are, I'd love to hear from them.

Dunno what are the best games here. As for as Missouri goes on counting, "Allowing" is a poor word. I don't think they can ask you to leave just for counting. They can shuffle every hand and flat bet you though I think. So being bold with counting is still not recommended.

Looked at the sample letter. Probably not much has changed for the area (MO has been pretty consistent), but I think Hollywood's cheapest 3:2 is $10 now. When I walked by the $5 table it was the dreaded 6:5.

They can't flat bet you unless they flat bet the entire table, whatever they do to you they have to do to the table you're playing at. They can ask you to flat bet, but cannot enforce it (legally anyway) I've seen a table changed to $100 min, $100 max on a player playing heads up though. I've also heard of an instance of the deck being shuffled up mid hand while dealer was about to draw on a total of 14. Most common countermeasures are half shoe, or on double deck dealing out about 25 cards total. Tolerance in MO has gone way down over the last year or so, so ive heard.

I appreciate the responses. Did the people that reported the countermeasures indicate what the tell was? Bet spread I assume?

I went to ameristar st Charles tonight. The minimum bet was 15, DAS, hit soft 17, no surrender, 6 deck.

I lost count several times... I need more practice...

Anyway, the penetration was great. 1 deck or slightly less removed... I'm going back later this week.
