The Belterra Indiana Casino is the something else. Yes, I lost a lot, again, but that's not the reason I can't stand the place. In the first 30 minutes of play at the craps table I was admonished 3 times. So I threw the dice maybe 30 times (4th time to me) before coming up shot on one roll. "Sir, your going to HAVE to hit the back wall". Wait, what? Didn't the first 29 tosses mean anything? A lady with her cans hanging out took six tries to hit back wall shorty thereafter but that was O.K...."come on sweetheart throw the dice a little harder" hehe , isn't she cute. I'm standing next to the stickman and the table is crowded, I'm a fairly big guy and so was he. We are shoulder to shoulder. We inadvertently tapped shoulders. "Sir, you are going to HAVE to give me some room". Wait, what? The third strike was tossing chips onto table. I like to spin my chips onto the table. I have a very controlled toss developed over 30 years of play and can basically throw the chips to a spot anywhere on the table never hitting other bets and landing softly... "sir, you MUST place chips on table". This was all done in the backdrop of me tossing a two way yo and a DOL to the crew early on.....tipping waitress, smiling and trying to have good time and not betting table minimums.

At the Roulette table a dude accidently spilled a portion of his beer on the table. The dealer went nuts. Wait, what? The dude to his credit said..."it was a fucking accident" The table was a nasty old table that had been spilled on hundreds of times in the past as if that matters. Come to think of it....the dealer was a nasty old lady who and been spilled on many times by her four ex husbands. The towers weren't working....yes, I like to look at previous spins....but the dealers in all the games appeared to be very unhappy with a few exceptions. They all had the attitude that "the man was keeping them down".

The Horseshoe Casino opens March 4 in Cincinatti. I'll go there to lose money. I'm guessing the crews will be friendly for at least six months. The Cincy casino is going to take some serious cash out of Baltera ass, as they are 30 minutes apart. The scenery will be much nicer as the Cincy girls are awesome.

That's too bad. They need to clean up that attitude
if they want to have any chance of staying open
now that all the Ohio casinos are opening.

I like Belterra but have mostly played VP there,
but that was at least a year ago. So I don't know
what it is like there now.

The hotel rooms are very nice.
There's emptiness behind their eyes There's dust in all their hearts They just want to steal us all and take us all apart

I need to make a tour through that area (not yet sure just when) to pick up souvenir chips from Rising Star and Horseshoe Cincinnati. I expect I'll skip Belterra that time. Been there, done that, no need to do it again, even though I won money on my only visit there ever.

Ive been there a few times. Always thought it was the nicer of the three S. Ind. casinos(by nice I mean looking) before the argosy redo. Ive never played the slots there but know a couple of friends that have done well at the 5 dol. level. Poker tournys are what led me there. Do you ever go to Rising sun? Ive found the people and the dealers to be friendlier here. BJ rules were decent also(been a while since Ive been there tho). Ive had vgl at the slots here(back before I started table game play). GL with the new Cincy casino, if its anything like the people that go to Hollywood Indiana you prob. wont like it there either.

Don't forget that the entire surrounding area is meth-infested. The dealers are most likely taking precautionary measures because those who they need to instruct don't/can't listen anyways.

Sorry for your bad experience, but I bet if you had won, you wouldn't have been so pissed. It always good to have alternative casinos to hit up.
The difference between zero and the smallest possible number? It doesn't matter; once you cross that edge, it might as well be the difference between zero and 1. The difference between infinity and reality? They are mutually exclusive.
