What irritated me was there could be a thread talking about boxers vs briefs and it would turn into a debate about Trump.

Or in your case, what color panties you should wear on Monday.🤣🤣

I heard my hanging pots and pans banging violently against each other. I guess I could have imagined it but it freaked me out enough that I left my house and sat in the yard

This is how superstitions get started.
Instead of finding reason for what
happened, you bolt out the front
door in terror. Best is to investigate
and when you can't find a reason,
then be terrified. The Amazing
Randi is still offering 1 million to
anybody who can prove the
supernatural exists. Before him
Houdini made the same offer
for $25K. Both men never had
to give out a dime.

I think that something like that battlefield could just trigger your moral imagination. We hear about death and tragedy all the time. But occasionally, something causes it to really sink in.

IDK if I've posted my supernatural encounter.

I woke up. I was definitely conscious. (there was never any break in continuity) Sitting up in bed.

I looked over at our closet, which was the kind with the doors that roll side to side. There was a grey alien standing there watching us, about 4 feet tall.

I sat there for a moment processing what I was seeing and concluded that I should attack it. I stood up on the bed, jumped over my girlfriend, with my hands extended, reaching for the alien's neck.

I smashed into the door and knocked it down and this broke whatever weird mental state I was in. I realized that there was no alien.

Whatever state I was in altered not only my perception but my decision making. I think if I saw an alien in a normal state of mind, I would react quite differently.

Was there a dispensary visit that preceded this event?

even though there's no proof of the supernatural scientists cannot explain the origin of the universe
they know a few things - i.e. the big bang theory - but there is much, much more that they don't know
none of them can explain how something came out of nothing

I heard one scientist say that in 100 years we may know the answers - but right now we're not even close

The first night that I stayed at my Mother In Laws house she put me and my wife in her guest bedroom. The guest bedroom was lined with shelves of very old dolls. While laying in bed the dolls kept moving and switching places on the shelves. Occasionally one would dive bomb us in bed. They then started talking to each other and probably plotting to kill us. That will be the last time I drink and take an Ambien before staying in a strange room with dolls.

Why do you assume it came from
nothing, how are you jumping to
that huge conclusion. Make's
more sense that the galaxies
exist in a universe that's always
been there.

Scientists have been able to induce the feeling of being watched just by having subjects enter a casino.
Quasimodo? Does that name ring a bell?
