I subscribe to Google alerts with 'Trump poll'.
Every time a story about a poll with Trump
comes out, it's sent to me. This feature must
be a godsend for reporters, it does most of
their work for them.

I get 20-30 a day. Today they went bonkers
because in the new and venerated CNN/ORC
poll, which is intricate and done just once a
month, Trump is getting almost 50% of the
votes. Bush and Christie dropped out and
Trump got all their support. The press is
beside themselves, they thought Trump
had a 'ceiling' and now they see the ceiling
is the sky. He's 33 points ahead of Rubio.

If it were anybody else, this would be over.
But all they talk about is how Rubio can
still win, he has to win. He's bought and
paid for, after all.

There is a reason Rubio comments on his hands. Trump is very self conscious about his small fingers. Its been an ongoing joke from "Spy" magazine since the 80s which started with them calling him the “short-fingered vulgarian.”.

' Trump, for his part, took the bait at least once, declaring to the New York Post‘s Page Six, “My fingers are long and beautiful, as, has been well-documented, are various other parts of my body.” '

I hope the debates for the Republican candidates are done, at least until one emerges as a clear winner. Even then, if you got to whip it out and show it off, Hillary is still a real threat ;-)

Can I request DNA sampling? That might be Vince Foster's.

In my own mind, I'm naked, and I'm beautiful, and I'm huuuuuuge!
The 'I'm huge' part is a very recent addition, don't know why I didn't have it in there before.....

Trump was on Hannity at 10pm. I don't know
how he does it. The guy is almost 70 and he
has endless energy. He was engaging, likable,
funny, sincere, a pleasure to listen to. There
were no talking points, no slogans, no
insults. Just a serious guy connecting with
an audience. This is a talent you're born
with, screw the politics. This is why he
can say stuff that would sink anybody
else. He comes across as the guy you
can forgive for anything.

I think he's probably the anti-Christ. But
I'm still voting for him..

People who cover politics are like people who are commentators of a sporting event. They want to prop up the team getting trounced 38-7 in order to generate some interest and ratings giving the impression that the game or race isn't over. If you look at the futures markets IMO Hillary is basically the nominee, and Trump is getting close to becoming a certainty. Depending on how today goes, he might venture into that territory.

What IMO is being ignored in many hypothetical race polls whether it be Hillary vs Trump or Hillary vs Rubio is the turnout factor. IMO Dems had HUGE turnouts in 2008 and 2012, and I find it difficult to imagine they will replicate those numbers. If the primary season is any indicator, Repubs are turning out in droves and Dems are sitting on their hands. In some Republican primaries there are as many people voting in 2016 as voted in 2008 and 2012 combined, and Dem numbers in the primaries are down from even 2012, when the nominee was a sitting president, which at least IMO kind of nullifies the argument that the Dem race isn't hotly contested.

He was quieter but he certainly did not get through the interview without calling some people names, telling Fox who they should have on, etc. Still used his "but I am not going to say that" line which is basically saying it and then saying you are not going to say it.

Was it different delivery? Yes.
Was it the same information? Yes.

It was a friendly interview, which there will be some of over the course of time. just not a whole lot. As the front runner he WILL be attacked. People will talk about the way to beat him. Why? If they don't have a way to beat him to talk about in the media, they have a whole lot of air space to fill with, well...nothing!

I did not vote for him the primary here in Texas.
I will vote for him in the general election if he is the nominee.
