Quote: ams288No one mentioned that Hillary won SC by almost 50 points, 74%-26%.
Bye bye Bernie.
The least exciting contest of the race to date. They were calling it as soon as the polls closed and I think Bernie had already left the state. In spite of all the talk about super-delegates and the party trying to make sure the establishment has their say in the picking who they want to be the candidate, there is really no path forward for Sanders at this point--he is behind in most polls for the upcoming primaries and close in the ones he may be ahead in; none are a sure thing for him. Once he loses a bunch of primaries, he'll soon be an after thought and Hillary will be running for President and not the nomination.
In a similar vein, Cruz/Rubio have no chance of taking Trump out at this time. If there was only one other Republican, there could be a chance but I don't really see a way to "prove" in actual returns what they think...that Trump has a ceiling and they can do better than that. There is some validity to the point that he only can go so high, but it matters less if he gets 30%-40% and they get 20%-25% each than if he was running against one of them and he lost 50%-40%...he wins, they lose and he's the nominee (...and I am not saying that it would actually turn out that way anyway; he always seems to get a peice of the pie when someone drops out).
Unless there are shenanigans....
Quote: SanchoPanzaSecond, based on prominent past records, the litigious one has not proven successful, except for his handful of bankruptcies, which by coincidence, occurred in the region under his sister's jurisdiction, he may not fare too well. Among the losing cases have been his claim for unrequited claim for $5 billion (cq) from Timothy O'Brien, a well-respected journalist who wrote "TrumpNation," in Camden, N.J. of all places; the fine in the $1 million case for hiring illegal Polish workers for Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue; and being laughed out of court in his persistent and nasty effort to have the state use eminent domain to seize the home of an elderly woman to park his casino limousines.
Well, I don't what he's going to do or TRY to do. He talks a lot of crap.
Maybe after trying to deport everyone who looks Mexican, riots break out. Then he has to send in the military to quell the riots. Then he has to shut the press up, and try to pretend Congress agreed with martial law. Then he buys himself a scepter and gold lined robe, and gets his wife Melanoma a nice jeweled crown from Harry Winston jewelers. Etc., etc.,
Actually, he probably already has the last articles, he lives in a gold room

Which is exactly what Trump is trying to
do. Take all the crap Obama has done,
Obamacare, ignoring the wide open
border, getting some real jobs back in
the country instead of Obama faux jobs,
and make America great again.
We finally agree on something. (I have

But I've never liked Rubio more! This weekend he made fun of Trump's spray tan, said Trump has small hands and said, "you know what they say about people with small hands....."
I've never seen him so energetic. Gone is the robotic talking-point-spewing Rubio from the debates, and now we have energetic insult comic Rubio.
Do I think it is Presidential? No. But what other choices does he have? He realizes time has basically run out and he's gotta throw in the kitchen sink if anything is going to stick.
screaming about Trump's small hands
and orange tan. He looks deranged, like
he hasn't slept in days. So now he's
whispering his stand up comedy routine
instead of screaming it.

I think they should both "whip 'em out" on the debate stage and see who wins.
If Michelle Obama gets in on the action, Rubio and Trump both lose, I'm afraid.

Yep!

There is a reason Rubio comments on his hands. Trump is very self conscious about his small fingers. Its been an ongoing joke from "Spy" magazine since the 80s which started with them calling him the “short-fingered vulgarian.”.

' Trump, for his part, took the bait at least once, declaring to the New York Post‘s Page Six, “My fingers are long and beautiful, as, has been well-documented, are various other parts of my body.” '
