I recall seing your photo in a hotel review where you mentioned you won a craps tournament. Did you ever write about it. Was curious if you would share details about how often they occur in LV, how do you get invited, how do you (did you) win? I think the Hilton has one, any experience with that tournament?

I wrote a newsletter about it, but I'm too tired to look for it.

Here is the executive summary:

It was at the Venetian.

I was invited via previous casino play.

I could write a lengthy article about how I won, but basically a combination of luck and skill.

The Hilton low-level tournaments, like the one where you get an invitation for winning a $5 yo bet, are almost worthless. If you're going to be there anyway, great, but not worth it otherwise. I did a couple other low-level Hilton tournaments, which give me this jaded opinion. Too many players for too little prize money and they shake you down for re-buy and wild card fees. They probably collect more from those than they pay in prize money.

you wrote for the tie breaker:
The other player had only to use some kind of progression to get a little ahead, and then mimic my bets.

What do you mean progression?

(and luckily he didnt know the proper strategy)

Something like the Martingale, where you keep progressively betting more until you get a win.
