I thought that we were 100% going to try out the casino mentioned in my other thread--the poll about how to bet on craps in a casino with higher limits than I usually like to play.

The decision is dicier...I have been on a bad streak at Coushatta, which is our favorite casino within easy driving distance (four bad trips in a row--bad being losing right from the start to the end; no significant playing time compared to other trips). Lauberge du Lac offered us a free room but we don't have to use it this weekend. They have higher limits and my bankroll is smallish for this trip. We could also go to the third Lake Charles-area casino, but it just isn't very nice.

If you had these choices (plus staying at home as an additional choice) what would you do?

"Streaks" are random right? If I am making the best bets I have just as good a chance this time as any time of having longer sessions and a winner or two, don't I?

Yeah, streaks are random but if you feel happier in a different casino then go seek out streaks there. Any change of environment can work wonders for you. And if you want to attribute your next streak to the fact that you were at a North facing craps table, that is just fine! Variety is the spice of life, so try whatever casino you wish. If you've been on a losing streak at the nearest casino, drive a little further down the road and try a different one.

No question; play at where you feel comfortable. Just because you've been on a bad streak is no reason to dump a place, although it could be a reason to try another. Play where they offer the best games and give you the best treatment. If you have bad luck there, so what. It will change eventually.
