Write down how many hrs I spend in the casino each time I'm there.
I currently only write down beginning $ and ending $ for each day in a spreadsheet.
With the hrs, I can estimate the $/hr I'm making.
Reason why I'm doing this:
Pre COVID, I used to make $10/hr playing 1/3 No Limit on weekends.
I was just a break even player.
The $10/hr avg comes from the poker promos such as $500 high hand or $100/person Lucky table.
(Computer Randomly picks an eligible table every 30min and every one on that table gets $100. Table can be picked multiple times.)
Then I discovered AP but never wrote down # of hrs like in poker, mainly because I now go to multiple casinos in a day and sometimes twice each day.
So keeping track of the total daily hrs became a chore.
But now because of increased AP competition and casinos lowering the RTP of playable slots, my profit has steadiy decreased over the past few years.
So want to see if I'm beating the $10/hr rate of low limit poker.
and Like any New Years resolution, let's see if I keep up with it throughout the year
I don’t know how many hours you spend in casinos but if you’re not sure if you’re making more than $10 per hour it doesn’t sound like you’re doing too well, what if you just counted 8 hours a day or 6 or 12 . You must have a rough idea of how much driving you do or how long you’re away from home. I factor in my driving or flying time and expenses to decide which casinos are worth more or less for me.Quote: 100xOddsMy 2027 New Years resolution:

I will suggest snapping a picture of the dashboard clock before you go in and after you get out.
I am usually back at the steering wheel in 26 minutes, although sometimes interesting things make it take 2 hours.
Best of luck!

I don't factor in driving time for my job but now that you mention it, maybe I should. (Afternoons suck.. sometimes 1.5hrs home because rush hour traffic)
As for driving time to casinos, might as well put down when I started at 1st casino and when I get home from last casino?
But I can't compare that with my poker $/hr.
For that, it was easy to keep track of.
Every month, there are same times for the promo.
Ie: 9am-2pm for the Lucky Table
I'm there when it starts and leave when it ends.
So I just put down 5hrs for that day.
Can't compare because I didn't include driving time, although I can probably figure out
STOP playing big bottom Progressives
Lost $1500 @ $10/spin (Quickhits Ultra) chasing a $300 progressive (300x bet) and I never got it. :(
I probably should have stopped when I lost more than the next level progressive (900x).
Since I apparently i play like a Ploopie with these and keep going with no discipline, maybe I should stop now instead of waiting to next year.
I think I'm down lifetime chasing big progresses where I don't know whether or not it's +ev.
(Also Crazy Money 2 and Big Cats 5)
