You two continuing to engage each other is the definition of insanity.

Pretty much the definition of boring , as well.

Exactly. You have to go on with life. Take sensible precautions, but that is it.

Exactly, which is pretty much what Florida has done, unlike NY where the number of deaths from the virus have been

sky high!

I care about the subject and keep hoping someone will actually talk about casinos. As far as me being bored, that doesn't happen. In the last half hour, I've seen two Border Agents on horseback and a copter. That usually means something set off a sensor and a search is afoot.

And no. I don't see that as a personal insult.
Without siding with either side of this 'Debate' it is clear that neither side will persuade the other. So if one side has a perceived irrational perception of the universe, but will not persuaded that he's wrong, then there is a certain irrationality in trying to persuade him. 'Insanity' might be a harsh perjorative word, but I'm not going to treat it as an insult this time. Are these opponents really opposing each-other with an intent to persuade each-other, or maybe belittle each-other, or are they playing to the greater audience? I suspect the latter/
I'm not making a moderators judgement, just putting out there the rhetorical question.
Take care out there. Spare a thought for the newly poor who were happy in their world just a few days ago, but whose whole way of life just collapsed..

I live in Washoe County that is where Reno is located. within. We currently have the highest infection rate of C19 in the state, higher than Clark County in Vegas. We have reduced public gathering back down to 50 from 250. I would love the governor to put an end to smoking inside the casino. Better alternative to closing down.

Einsteinís definition: The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.

I just want the "we need to DO SOMETHING" crowd to say what they will do other than say MASKSMASKSMASKSMASKS. I get that they have some thing against people who prefer not to wear masks, but I want to hear something of substance. We had seen results with hydroxychloroquine and zinc taken early but that they pooh-poohed. Given my choice I would take the hydroxychloroquine over a mask. We had a thread on mask wearers catching the bug.

I seriously want someone to explain what the "action" is to take other than masks. We have had the masks forced on us for 6 months in my parts. "Masks" is no longer an answer to "action."

The "we need to do something" crowd has done of fine job of creating doubt and undermining any vaccine that may be developed by the pharmaceutical companies. Consequently we will see the virus persist and more people will die, until we can repair the damage that they've done to the vaccine industry.

I would say the vaccine companies did a pretty good job of doing damage to the perceived safety of vaccines themselves
