Get a sense of humor. It's friday for crying out loud.
The entire Buffalo Police Department Emergency Response Team — a total of 57 officers — has resigned from the team in support of the two officers who pushed 75-year-old Martin Gugino to the ground, seriously injuring him.
They are still employed, but no longer on ERT.

Not sure about Nevada, but in NJ you can renew your license through the mail. They usually send you the forms a month prior to expiration and you just fill it out & mail it. License arrives in about 2-3 weeks.
Some states even allow online renewal for driver's license and registration. However, registering a new or used vehicle must be done in person or through a dealership for a fee.
I read that my local MVC is re-opening June 15th, which should start other locations re-opening processes as well.

Can someone tell me which fast food joint sells the most processed chicken nuggets? I want the kind that have been through a grinder at least twice after being mechanically separated from a chicken carcass? I don't want the nuggets that once you bite them have grains in them like meat does if it hasn't been ground. I would like melt in the mouth chicken. Who sells that kind?
Need chicken spread with the consistency of liverwurst.

My guess would be Burger King since their nuggets are advertised as the cheapest. I haven't eaten their food since I was kid when they had curly fries. Came to find out, the Burger King in my town failed every health inspection and was shut down forever. It ultimately became a bootleg Panera Bread called Atlanta Bread.
Even with all the processed chicken shavings and cartilage in the nuggets, the ketchup is probably worse for you with all the high fructose corn syrup in it. Best bet is to read the labels and find organic or Simply Heinz Ketchup that has no high fructose corn syrup.

It affects different people differently. I started showing symptoms Saturday, May 2, took a test on Monday the 4th and got a positive result on Friday the 8th. I was at 100% by Wednesday the 6th which was 2 days before I got my result. A gentlemen I work with, and the guy I think gave it to me, was laid up in bed for 3 weeks. Another person I work got a positive test result based on a test she was ordered to get based upon being in close contact with me, never showed any symptoms.
Many of the states that have opened up, there IMO is insufficient data on the effect of re-opening. You can have COVID for 2 weeks before symptoms arise, and depending on the test you get it can be up to another week before you get results and since no states have really been open for 3 full weeks there is legitimate concern that the results coming in are from cases acquired before the re-opening.
I live close to the IL/IN border and the way both states have dealt with the virus is completely different. That said, I am 4 miles from Indiana and since a re-opening in Lake Co on May 26th, which was a week later than all but 3 IN counties 80% of my business has gone to that State

Hmmm... profit's over people's lives! Casinos don't give a damn. More people will die of covid19 because of casinos,,,That will happen.
When people die of covid19 because of casinos' greed for profit, it's people's own faults because no casinos will ever twist their arms and make them walk into casinos.
Covid19 have been likely spread thru air condition system (just like legionnaire disease) , and people will possibly inhale Covid19 into their lungs and get infected with Covid19. Later when the same people fly home from LV, then USA will be screwed up big time by Covid19.
Only time will tell. As of June 6, CDC sez 1,891,690 Americans get inflected with Covid19. Let's see what CDC will say on June 20.

Agreed. Nobody has to go to a casino. No one is required to work at a casino, and can qualify for PUI if they don't want to work at a casino.
I'm eager to go back, a major activity since I retired. Two top-rate, large casinos are less than an hour's drive away. They reopened on 6/1 and have solicited my return. My free decision is to stay away, since I personally think it's too risky at this point.
Good for you if you go, or not. It's your free will either way. If you get the virus, don't blame the casino. Take any and all precautions that make sense to you, just like deciding to go to a restaurant, to wear a mask, or to lockdown your own self.

So if thousands of CV carrying tourists descend on las vegas and spread the infection, we shouldn't blame the casinos when the medical system is overloaded.
I usually hit up the Station buffets, Ellis Island BBQ and Metro Pizza BOGOs, but I'm guessing the buffets are shut down for the indefinite future and, while it seems that EI is open, I haven't found any word about their restaurants.

If the hospitals get overrun with patients again, that’s when people will begin to care. That was what led to the height of the caring level the first time.
People generally don’t care about the dead body count unless it’s someone close to them.

Love it. Wish we had it here. Though I suspect people will quickly tire of wearing masks in the casino, same as they are tired of wearing them everywhere else.

Unless you are one of the thousands of extra deaths, or someone who cares about one of those extra deaths. Of course we will never be able to be sure which deaths are 'extra' and which deaths were unavoidable. The people have voted in Las Vegas. There will certainly be a spike in deaths there. But as AZ has pointed out numerous times, each person walking in the Cosmopolitan like it was 2019 is aware of the risks. No one forced to go there. Might one of the newly infected bring it home to grandma? Yes. Grandma can ban those who don't want to social distance from her home. Nursing homes are testing employees twice a week here to limit potential exposure.
I do worry for me and my wife. BUT.... I want to live my life. We are going out to dinner tonight at an outdoor venue. ESPRESSO MARTINI! Wish me luck!

I'm still staying inside and only go out to the market. That's the only time I wear a mask and that's out of respect for others. I don't understand people who are wearing a mask when they're out by themselves, walking or riding a bike, far away from others. I wouldn't do that.
I'm getting good offers from the casinos, but I ain't going until I'm sure people aren't dropping dead. We've got a prison south of Fresno in the town of Avenal. I think about 500 prisoners have the virus. Plenty of new cases every day. I'm staying in. Playing online.

That is not a cite. That is you typing a list of states. You need to show state by state number of cases week by week for at least 8 weeks or so to show a trend and rising.
What you have typed is zero. Nothing of value. Just a list of states. Does not make your point.
People all over are getting out and getting back to a normal life. Most I have met are tired of the masks. Numbers are what, 1/10 of projections?
It is at the moment the biggest letdown since they opened Al Capone's vault on live TV.

I don't want to get into any debate about whether the virus is going away or weakening or strengthening. I hope to God it is weakening and there is some evidence of that and not just based on cases and deaths. The average viral load number in patients today is lower than 2 months ago. This directly correlates to how sick a patient will get, as well as hospitalizations and deaths.
The problem with this virus is there is a good month delay needed to examine any data. Generally people who do show symptoms BEGIN to have them 3-14 days after exposure, with the average being 8-9 days. And people who get sick are usually sick for about a week. so you are 2-3 weeks into it at THAT point.
But it gets worse as far as the time line. When I got sick I was sick just about a week, 7-8 days with moderate symptoms. Maybe 2 days in the middle of that span, a little more severe. Then I started to feel better for a couple days and then got sick all over again for a second round of almost a week. This "rebound" second week is VERY common and it is when the most severe cases usually turn "most severe". Luckily for me my second week did not turn more severe, just kind of a repeat of week one.
So people that end up in the hospital it is often during the 3rd week after exposure and infection. And people that do die, usually another week. So any kind of event that you are looking at data to see changes, you have to allow a month. For example the protests all across the US the first week of June, data won't reflect any changes until the end of June or July 1. Same with Las vegas casino re-opening. Looking at any data before July 1 is meaningless.
Quote: AZDuffmanI cannot imagine living like that but if that is what you prefer have at it.
"Prefer" may not be the word. I'm over 60 now, and when I get the regular flu, it settles in my lungs something awful. Plus asthma. I have a bunch of cats and dogs. They need me. There's no one else for them. My relatives are all dead. I can't risk doing a month in the hospital. Who takes care of my house, my cats and dogs? Nobody, that's who. They mean everything to me. But I do want to get back to gambling. Someday.
Same way I'm going most places. I went out to eat yesterday, but got there at a time before I knew it was going to get busy.
