Um, didn't he die in 2023, over 2 years ago? Am I missing a joke here, or am I the only one who actually reads the date and byline of a death notice or obituary?
If I am not mistaken, this isn't the first time a poster posted the death notice of a years long dead celebrity here.

Yep, they got me again,
And I was just about to report Val Kilmer too and then I checked the date cause of this post. Something is wrong with feeds of recently deceased people popping up.
I think I will have to simply do a google search every time I see a death notice.
Thanks.

Most weeks it only takes about 5,000sales to make the list. A celebrity like Frehley can do a couple of high-profile book signings and make the list.
The NY Times list used to be easy to manipulate, but it has become harder to do so. Authors would front-load by buying 5-10,000 copies of their book and either return them later or have the publisher sell them as needed.
This little trip vid down Fame and Fortune Lane is boom and bust of the worst sort.
How much Ace Frehley and Peter Criss earned in KISS
One commenter wrote: There is an error in this video. Peter and Ace did not start with a clean slate by filing bankruptcy. If you file bankruptcy you still have to pay the taxes you owe to the government. You cannot avoid taxes by filing bankruptcy. Other debts will be wiped away but not your debt to Uncle Sam. The same is true with student loan debt. If you owe the government money they force you to pay it. You might be able to negotiate with the IRS to reduce your interest and penalties.
He died after suffering a head injury from a nasty fall. I guess you could say he died the way he lived, getting a blow-head.

A major cause of injury and death among senior citizens every year is falling. Falling is not something I want to do so I'm very careful and I watch the falling videos that are meant for comedy on YouTube. They are very instructive on what not to do when you're walking especially on stairs. You have to keep your center of gravity slightly in front of you all the time so you can recover if you trip. Watch for the falling down stairs examples in this video and most of the people have their center of gravity behind them and not in front of them. They are not paying attention to what they're doing and that always comes with a price.\
Use a handrail, go as slow as you need to for stability.
Even with as young and spry as I am, I managed to slip on some ice a year and change ago, and I still need to wear a brace on the afflicted knee on bad days.
And yes, falling is absolutely serious. Ashly's aunt slipped and fell on some wet concrete a few months ago, and died from her injuries a few weeks later. I believe she was in her sixties.
But most styles of music were outrageous at some point, except for possibly Muzak. Plenty of old symphonic works were audience shockers at one time,

Quote: avianrandyI remember a radio contest where they played clips from 15 different songs. The very last clip was a guitar riff. A friend said it sounded like 100,000 years from kiss. I don't think I have heard that song to this day. The answer was it was the very end of led Zeppelin song rock and roll. Of course they had to make it challenging but some got all 15 songs correct. Good mix of songs called the classic collage

As a disclaimer, I do not fall down. But I am 76 and on Elon musk's birthday I will be 77. When I'm walking outside I always use a cane. Not for support, for balance. That's why people have always used and still use walking sticks when they hike, it's for balance. Balance is everything. I constantly reassess my center of gravity, so much so that it's now a part of who I am. If you have the right center of gravity at all times your chances of falling are greatly diminished and if you do fall, serious injury is also diminished. The list of famous people and celebrities throughout history that injured themselves gravely or died as a result of falling is almost endless. People do not take it seriously enough. To enter my house I have to go up six steps to the top of the deck. On both sides of the steps I have a total of 15 nickel plated grab bars installed and they are continuously handy. If you are still relatively young and by that I mean in your 50s and even your 60s get ready Freddy. Once you hit 70 your life is about to change and you better change with it.
If you have ever had a child who is trying to walk as a baby, he has the muscles to do it. What you see in front of you is his brain trying to figure out how to keep his center of gravity correct so he can walk and not fall down. It's an amazing thing. And as you get older you start to lose that thing you learned when you were a year old, how to automatically keep that center of gravity.

Yes, a troubling number of older people are injured or killed in falls. I've advised a few to do some housekeeping: clutter on the floor (it's easier than you think to slip on a mere piece of paper on a carpet, especially glossy paper), furniture jutting out, drawers left open, damaged carpets or floors, electrical cords stretching across the floor all should be eliminated.

First and always, Lassies mom. Every Sunday in the late 50's a grilled cheese and a bowl of Campbell's tomato soup in front of the TV. Only show we were allowed to eat in front of was Lassie. TV trays and everything.
Quote:Grateful Dead, sang back-up on several classic Sixties hits, and fronted her own bands, has died. She was 78.
Godchaux died Sunday, Nov. 2, at a hospice facility in Nashville after a “lengthy struggle with cancer,” according to a statement shared with Rolling Stone by her representative, Dennis McNally. “She was a sweet and warmly beautiful spirit, and all those who knew her are united in loss. The family requests privacy at this time of grieving,” the statement continued. “In the words of Dead lyricist Robert Hunter, ‘May the four winds blow her safely home.’”
She was a vital part of the Dead for the first years I was a fan.
Okay not quite that many.

One of the guidelines I find helpful is trying not to disparage the deceased between the death and the interment.

Started his political career young and just kept going.
If by "amazing: you mean ascended in power and influence to become a 2 term vice president who also had tremendous direct influence during his terms in office, you'd be correct. If by "amazing" you mean he did amazing things that are worthy of commemoration or were of lasting positive influence on future generations, let's just say there might be legit disagreement.
That being said, it was good that he got his transplant and had more years because of it.

I also think that donating organs is the right thing to do since you won't need your organs after death and you can save lives after you are dead. 💡😀

I did sign up as a donor at my last ID renewal, although I'm not sure what salvage value my components might offer.
As a few friends used to joke in school, we were going to donate our lungs to the cancer society, so they could repave their parking lot. (I think I'm one of the last of that group still living.)
