Not much of one, but the CVS I was in rocked for about five seconds. Most people just stood around but several headed right for the door. Californians, I suppose.

Out here in Pahrump, NV my extra long double wide mobile (has a family room in the middle) swayed really good for a count to 10 (I probability started to count 2 seconds after the swaying started). Then I got a bit concerned but then it stopped.
I was in the kitchen cooking. Had to inspect for any damage in and out and found none. Lucky

Growing up in SoCal I been thru many quakes and just I start counting the seconds when I feel one (takes at least a '4' for me to feel)

Just hope the WSOP.com has no issues from this.

I was in a quake in Santa Barbara in 78.
My GF at the time started screaming
like she was being raped by a biker
gang. That was 10 times worse to deal
with than the quake was by far. Women
who lose it like that in an emergency
make themselves totally worthless and
a liability to all around her.

Was eating breakfast at the House of Blues when it happened. It was a rolling quake and the little lamps at the bar were swaying a bit. Checked USGS and it was there 4 minutes later. I think we felt three sways.

I've been in a small earthquake before a couple of times in the Pacific Northwest, but not a sway like that.

I was at home and noticed the chandelier rocking back and forth and could feel the house trembling a bit. Based on a small sampling, about half of Las Vegans felt it.

Me neither, and I'm near Fresno. A friend from Canada called me to check on me. I didn't know what he was talking about.

No biggie. We eat earthquakes for breakfast.

I've always thought it was weird how when Jesus dishes out natural disasters to cities that don't hate gays enough and stuff, he's always overlooked Vegas. We call it Sin City, ferchrisakes. What do we have to do?

Seems like he made an effort, but Satan overpowered him. I'll be sure to sacrifice an extra goat to the dark lord tonight.

I always wanted to be in a big quake. Like one where you thought the earth was going to open up. Although I would like to be in the middle of the country

I experienced an earthquake once, thought there was just a storm because the windows were all shaking. Never occurred to me at the time that the windows don't really shake and make all that noise during a storm even if the winds are high. I was trying to sleep and it was early in the morning, so I didn't really care what was going on.

Fire department spokesman who also lives in Summerlin was at home working on reports but learned of the earthquake only when he started getting calls about it.

I was home and didn't feel anything. My wife said she felt it but didn;t realize it was an earthquake until a friend texted us asking if we felt it,

I just felt another one. It felt roughly 3x as strong as the last one. I hear it was centered between Vegas and Bakersfield.

Reminds me of the one in 1971 when I was waking up and getting ready for high school. That was Sylmar, and I think it was 7.1. Almost 50 years ago. Scared the crap out of me. Not completely, some say I'm still full of crap.

By the way, has anyone else ever been to Ridgecrest? lol it sucks.

I played poker there in the 80s, a couple small card rooms, before the Indians got going.

This was a big one. On the bright side, it hit in one the least populated areas of California. For me personally, this was the biggest I've felt since I left California in 1992.

One of these days if/when there's ever a super massive earthquake (like the ones that shred Japan / Phillipines, etc.), I'm gonna be like "I'm not sure, but I think we just had an earthquake. Did anyone else feel it?" Meanwhile buildings are laying sideways and the earth is opening up.
