I'm going on both Christmas Eve and Christmas. I get triple free play from three different Casinos. :)
In both The Hunger Games and in gambling, may the odds be ever in your favor. :D "Man Babes" #AxelFabulous "Olive oil is processed but it only has one ingredient, olive oil."-Even Bob, March 27/28th. :D The 2 year war is over! I have lived in Las Vegas for 28 years and not been to a casino on Christmas day. That is going to change today,

Old and no kids to celebrate with this year so I am officially becoming EvenBob. Off to the casino where my wife and I plan to bankrupt Station Casinos at $5 Blackjack.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

I voted no since I’m out of town. Ironically I take the casino shuttle to and from the airport whenever I fly since I live across the street from the hotel. So convenient. Tip the driver $5:and they are good.

No. I have to work both days. I will be going the 26th, 29th, and 30th though. I need to get an additional 245k coin in before the 31st to get my free play bonus. It's becoming a part time job.

Going to Santa Anita on opening day, Dec. 26th, was a ritual for most of my life. Alas, I no longer live near the track, but my heart does.

For about 20 years, me, my brother a friend of his, and the 3 wives all went to a casino for Xmas. What else are good Jews gonna do on Xmas? Being from northern NJ, we'd rotate between Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods or somewhere in AC.

2016 was the last time we did it. Some of the other people got tired of the tradition.

Last year, my wife went out of state alone to visit friends. I went to the Sands in PA alone, for just 12/25.

This year, did family stuff on Sunday 12/23, then went to the Sands, checked in at 11pm and stayed until 8:00 on 12/24. That free room cost us plenty.
I invented a few casino games. Info: http://www.DaveMillerGaming.com/ ————————————————————————————————————— Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁

Does it count that I was working there both days?

I actually did go to 2 different casinos on Christmas Eve. Saw a movie at Southpoint and went to Orleans to use up a $25 dining offer that was going to expire, so I would have had to eat it if I didn't eat it.

I'm not really sure what other options there are for anyone on Christmas besides a gas station or a hospital. Maybe a park somewhere, but I'm running out of ideas already.

Played Video Poker at the Park MGM last nite
A Double Double bonus 25cent
I am sure a terrible pay table but it had a nice progressive going, 1440.00, so I played
Now home in Tampa
When somebody doesn't believe me, I could care less. Some get totally bent out of shape when not believed. Weird. I believe very little on all forums

This was a first for us - Christmas vacation in Vegas. So yes, we were in a Casino on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

A couple of other firsts for me:

1) Saw the WOW show at RIo.

- - - Good show overall, we saw it using our Diamond monthly tickets.

- - - I got a beer at the bar and a Pepsi for my brother. A glass of Pepsi was $ 7. W-T-H ? I don't think the price of that was posted.

- - - I guess I should have said never mind, but I think he ran my credit card already.

2) Stayed 1 night in a deluxe suite at Flamingo.

- - - It was OK, 1200 sq feett. Very small bathroom in the master bedroom. I wouldn't bother doing this again.

- - - I liked that they had pastries and coffee in the Diamond Check-in area.

3) Had front row seats at Cirque Beatles Love.

- - - I have seen the show several times before, so this was a different perspective looking up at the aerialists.
