Tell the hospital to bill you. They cannot refuse a patient services because of his/her ability to pay (the 1986 Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act.)

Fractured ribs. It's probably going to be painful to cough for awhile. Try to stay away from people with infectious respiratory diseases like common cold so you won't end up sneezing or coughing unnecessarily. But if you need to cough or sneeze, you got to cough or sneeze.

Also second day after injury usually worst than first if you don't have pain relievers on hand.

Welcome to Vegas. Everyone local has a Better call Saul guy in their phone on speed dial. It's sort of a right of passage.

Did you say it was the other person's fault(I don't think you are allowed to drive in the bus lane)? Did anyone call the cops? If yes, what happened? If not, why?

There should have been a ticket given for the person at fault if the cops were called out.

From my understanding, even if you are driving around without a license you are NOT automatically at fault and you can still be compensated. You would still follow all the steps as if you had one. There may be fines at the court level for not having a license and stuff, but no doubt the fines would be less than what the cost of your injuries and claim is worth.

You need to contact an attorney.

FYI Glen Lerner will send someone to you(Perhaps they all do). The people they send out get paid for each client that sign up.

Not sure how it is there, but here in AZ. if the motor size is 49cc or less, you don't need a license. Lot's of motorized bikes and such are 49cc for that reason.

Sounds like you were in the ER being treated as an outpatient and they never admitted you to the hospital at all. Your rights are greatest that way.
It doesn't sound like anything that needs further treatment anyway.

I'd talk to a lawyer anyway. The hospital didn't want to run up their bill on an uninsured patient, nor did the ER want to.
