Since this is the political thread and no reason to start another one, here is another reason that shows how political Planned Parenthood is.

http://triblive.com/state/pennsylvania/13772889-74/planned-parenthood-pac-to-spend-15m-campaigning-for-gov-tom-wolf-others

The abortion business must be good, obviously don’t need any government support if they can spend money like this.

When did Obama separate children from their parents and lock them in cages?!

I'm gonna need a source on this one before I respond. (A legitimate source, please. None of this Zerohedge B.S.).

You are now changing/adding to what you said.

"Here we go. We got a rightie defended locking children up in cages.

Good luck in the midterms!"

Nowhere in that statement did you say anything about separating children from their parents.

Of course, now you want to now make it about separating children from their parents since you now know Obama was in charge during a time when they were "locking children up in cages" as well.

I am not a conservative, but I am against abortion. I consider myself pro-life.

Which is why I am in favor of comprehensive sex education in public schools, free or low cost birth control to everyone regardless of age or income, and keeping abortion legal and safe.

Yes you seek asylum by going to the US embassy in that country and asking for it - not jumping a border wall or being smuggled in by a 'coyote' then claiming you did it for 'asylum' with a child that may or may not be yours

Quote: JimRockford

Wrong, you can't apply for asylum at a US embassy or consulate.
https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/how-obtain-protection-us-embassy-consulate.html

Does the name Julian Assange sound familiar to anyone, and if you recognize that name, do you now still think it was wise for him to seek asylum at the Ecuador embassy in England now?

Several hundred years ago, many people across the pond illegally crossed the ocean/border (there was no wall to jump over) for fear of religious persecution. How many people on this WoV board are descendants of the Mayflower?

It is idiotic to even suggest to anyone to seek asylum by going through US embassy. Seeking asylum via US embassy or any other embassies can be considered a suicidal act, and it can cause much trouble for the asylum-intended country and can create diplomatic/international crises that can lead to war or diplomatic/economic tit-for-tat sanctions.

Asylum seekers often face dangers in their journey of seeking freedom & liberty. So jumping border wall, or any ILLEGAL border crossing activities to run away from persecution is nothing out of ordinary in their dangerous journeys.

Anyone who suggest asylum seeking via US embassy route reveals their lack of common sense and lack of knowledge of international affair, and frankly such suggestion is very idiotic.

No again, it’s about supporting criminals and open borders to ensure more government dependent future Democratic voters.

Easiest way to not lose your children is to STAY in Mexico and not illegally cross the border.

Or get in line and file for legal immigration.

Not sure how anyone can disagree with that.

Of course this is the same group that believes Michael Brown was an innocent victim.

I'm sure Trump will be there, since he is against the policy of separating children from their families:

"Democrats can fix their forced family breakup at the Border by working with Republicans on new legislation, for a change!" - Donald Trump

"Put pressure on the Democrats to end the horrible law that separates children from there parents once they cross the Border into the U.S." - Donald Trump

And I'm sure Conservatives will be at the marches, too, since they support Trump, right? Right guys?

Anyone who compares the separation of children from adults (some parents, some not) when the adult is arrested to something done by Hitler or to something comparable to slavery is a complete idiot.

Wolf Blitzer was giving someone the business about those types of comparisons...

There was no such outcry when other officials and candidates supported detention and/or removal; stepping up our enforcement of existing border laws instead of a sort of "lottery" at the border is necessary and should have been done a long time ago. The separation issue should be resolved but not in yet another "catch and release" scheme.

When I refer to the "lottery" at the border, it is a reference to an interview with the US Attorney for the southern part of Texas (I do not remember the the actual position, but it covers a lot of the border and Houston...he said the previous process was to select a certain number of illegal aliens caught crossing our borders and prosecute them and not prosecuting every violator.

Good news just in...it was just reported that Strzok was escorted out of FBI building last week.

You still never replied to my post wherein I asked this:

How many Americans are in jail, separated from their children? How many parents go to work for 8-10 hours per day, separated from their children? Oh wait, no more schools, children are being separated from their parents by going to school? Let's abolish prisons, work and school - children should never be away from their parents!!!
Furthermore, let's abolish Child Protective Services -- parents who had a misdemeanor drug possession do jail time away from their children - Child Protective Services should never remove a child from the home of a parent, after all, it's only a misdemeanor drug possession charge -- CPS should leave all children with all parents, regardless of crimes they commit -- sex offender, hey we can't separate he/she from their children, it would be inhumane!!!

It’s kinda funny (IMO) when the lefties try to lump us all together. Just because Trump does or doesn’t support something, it doesn’t mean I agree with him. Just because EvenBob, AZD, Boz, AoS, or whoever else believe something, it doesn’t mean I believe it, too.

I read an interesting piece saying we could just sell them off as slaves to other countries. I am against this, since I’m a humanitarian. But it would solve many issues — we’d obviously make money on it, they wouldn’t be able to come back (hopefully), and it may even dissuade others from coming here illegally. Just admit to that and then we can move along.

One might guess that you don't really care about the caging or separation of the children in this case as long as it looks bad for Trump.

Good analysis Axel. Another example of the TDS ams is suffering from. He could seek help if he wants....

General warning. If the current level of rudeness and attacks keeps up, either we will have to close all the politics threads, or we will go to zero tolerance suspensions. Under which, about 8 posts would qualify in the last 24 hours.

Please take it down a couple of notches. Thank you.

Does that mean you are reversing your former ruling that "#WEAK" is not a personal insult? Are you reversing the Wizard's ruling that comments about someone's comprehension of English are not bankable offenses?

These are serious questions - thank you for the time in answering them.

AMS?

Can't save you on this one even with a general warning, Boz. You can't suggest a forum member is Hitler. You just can't. AMS is genuinely insulted.

3 days. See you then.
