I encourage everyone to poke around the results of Pew's international survey of morality, because it's packed with so many interesting tidbits about different countries. (For example: how is it that 95% of Spaniards are baptized Catholic, but only 2% of Spaniards are morally opposed to contraception? If over 80% of Ghanaians are simultaneously opposed to both adultery and divorce, does that mean a Ghanaian ought to remain married to an unfaithful spouse?)

Since this forum is mostly about gambling, here are the results when Pew asked 40,117 people: "Do you personally believe that gambling is morally acceptable, morally unacceptable, or is it not a moral issue?"

I've heard that it's a love-hate type scenario, often with families together on one side or the other. I think it's easy to see that with many Chinese being so obviously degenerates when it comes to gambling, it's easy to see how there's a large number on the other side of the fence.
