Have most of you guys been in prison for
the last 10 years? Some posts of a young girl
and you act like you haven't seen a woman
in a decade. I don't get it. Seriously, I'm at

It isn't that I haven't seen one in ten years but one hasn't communicated with me for free in about that long. Except situations like certain casinos in Costa Rica and Panama.

Not in your case but for some others, I think its more the fact that sometimes math and gambling/systems get boring, especially if you are not into arguing about that kind stuff. all the time, it's an age thing. Once you get
past about 55, they don't see you as
somebody who is after them anymore and they
become a lot friendlier. You're now older
than their father.
Watch this video from a very hip young lady who
works in a bar for living. If this is you she's
describing, get some clues here as to how
you should be acting.

So I always treat the opposite sex as a lady, until she proves otherwise.

I've seen creepy 40 year old guys say that to young
waitresses. The girl acts pleasant about it, but inside
she's going 'ick'..
We have a billions of people on the planet and each of those people have a different way of dealing with relationship issues or more succinctly dealing with flirting, courting and eventually marriage.
We can't always just look at a young girl from an old guys perspective. You could perhaps find younger girls who are attracted to older men for a variety of reasons. Those girls would welcome older men hitting on them, albeit in a bar, club, casino, movie, dog park, makes no difference.
Mostly younger girls won't be so receptive to older men in general.
Perhaps older women like younger men too. They may be just as inappropriate as what the oldr guy is. That may just be what works for them......being direct and asking for what they want.
If the guys here want to hit on Jennie then they should feel free to IMO. She will either reciprocate or she will deny you. It is, after all, up to her to decide what level of interaction she wants on this site.
If she is here for a good time then so be it..........
I think somewhere along the line we have forgotten that everyone has the right to do things their own way. We may not always agree with what they are doing but it is their choice after all.

I think you are generalizing bob. You are saying that every young girl that marries an old guy is only in it for the money or power or status.....
My mom married my step father when she was 22 and he was 45. They are still married today and he is the most wonderful father in the world (34-years in).
I'm just saying that history is filled with younger women marrying much older men. It is probably mostly for money but not always. Just as older women don't always go for younger men but it does happen. Sometimes for love, mostly for affection and convenience.......
Like I said earlier, to each his own.
At this point we still don't know for a fact which one Jennie is so better to just let her do her thing and let all the WoV'ers do their thing.

Your story sounds like your mom definitely married him for the money initially being young and unwed with a child but seems like it did blossom into something more.

You are assuming that my mother had no way of looking after herself and me after her divorce........
Also you are assuming that love was not a factor in the beginning of the courtship?
And thirdly, and most importantly you are assuming that my stepfather had anything to give my mother apart from his love?

Arranged marriages have much lower divorce
rates than love marriages. The concept of
marrying for love is very new, maybe 500

I agree. Marriage is best looked at as an economic institution, not an emotional institution -- because that is what it has been for the majority of its history. That is why many find it so offensive and outdated today.
I often look at the gay-marriage debate from this perspective. The default liberal position in this country is to support gay marriage, but I think that is missing the point. Progressives should be fighting to end the institution of marriage, period. It's obsolete and it subordinates women. Marriages also have an unacceptably high rate of failure and often lead to unnecessary legal battles and expenses.
If you love someone, love her. You don't have to involve the courts and the state in your relationship.

Don't take advice from some hardened female bartender. How dose she know what women want, when women have no clue what they want. I am sure she was right on a lot of points.
