Unrelated to the shooting, I'm just impressed with this thread! Beethoven9th, how the heck did you find this thread, read the original post, find the contradicting article, and compose and post your reply including a link, all in 2 minutes 3 seconds of the original post going up? I try to type a two line reply, and it usually takes me so long that three other posts slip in between. Yep, impressive posting, friend.

Cuz I have no life. :) LOL!

*EDIT: J/K...I had just sat down with some coffee and happened to notice the 'Recent Threads' list with the OP's post. I didn't know where SugarHouse was, so I highlighted "sugar house casino" & right-clicked to do a quick Google search and found the article. :)

Nice trick! I did not realize that was available.......

I wonder if this all means that the perpetrators robbed, beat, stabbed, duct-taped, and shot the wrong man?

There's a reason that I don't go to Sugarhouse - it really says something when harrah's is across the street from a prison and is the second-worst casino in town.

That's for damn sure. How is Parx? We keep meaning to get there, but we haven't made it to any of the Philadelphia area casinos yet.

I like Parx. It's big, pretty, and relatively smoke-free. I think it's a lot like the Sands, maybe not quite as high-end though. It'd be great if it had a parking garage, but it's all lot parking, which leads to long walks in the wind.

And, I guess I should clarify about Sugarhouse. It's a very nice casino, but in a terrible location. They wanted to be close to downtown, and they are - right on the sketchy border of town. It'd be like if Bally's Las Vegas relocated to North Las Vegas by the Poker Palace.
