I just heard something on the GWAE radio show from
Thursday. Bill Zender was the guest, who's an expert
on AP play. He said something very interesting. They
were talking about BJ and Zender said if you're looking
at BJ to become an AP, there is far more money in being
an AP in casino coupons and promotions. He said there's
a lot of 'low hanging fruit' right there for the taking, but
most people just can't do the math right.

Oh man! The hosts, dynamic duo of Dancer/Munchkin,
almost had on-air heart attacks! They changed the subject
so fast I almost didn't catch what had just happened. They
must agree with Zender and want to keep it a deep dark secret.

What the heck are they talking about? What does being an AP
on coupons and promotions entail?

Zender has been in the business since the stone age and he feels
a lot of casinos are still run by math challenged morons. He also
says he would never back off somebody who thought they were
a dice influencer because has yet to see any proof that it exists.

These guys will say anything to get you to try some less profitable or even a losing angle.

I just want to know what they're talking
about, I have no intention of ever using
a coupon for anything.

Really EvenBob you wouldn`t use a coupon for anything. What about free bet coupons or matchplays? I guess if you play unrated then I understand.

Yup, I don't get mailers because I don't use
players cards. I was a asked a lot in my Vegas
trip in May but not one pit pushed it at all.
They could have cared less if I had one or not.

I agree with that.Playing rated is way overrated. In the few places that I am rated some of the coupons can be worth alot,as you know based on your freeplay blog.

Playing 2 for 1 BJ coupons are a good bet. Most max out at $25 only though however.

Still gives you a huge edge if you're playing quarters anyway.
