I've eaten at Emril's New Orleans Fish House on three separate visits and loved it every time. I went during lunchtime and never had any wait for a table or need for reservation. Very highly recommended. My favorite was the jambalaya.
The ratio of people to cake is too big.

Emril's New Orleans Fish House is very good. Wolfgang Puck's is okay but not as good as Emril's.

Three of us ate at the Rainforest Cafe inside the MGM Grand. While this may not be anyone's idea of fine dining, that's not what we are into. We liked the rainforest theme, although the animatronics were a bit loud. Yes, this is a national chain, but the food and service was anything but ordinary.

The service was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable, prompt, and funny to boot! We each had a drink or two, split an appetizer, each had an entree, and my wife and her friend split a dessert. My wife had ribs, I had the jambalaya, and our friend had a steak. All were nicely prepared and tasty. The drinks were strong. Our bill was around $120. I tipped 30% for the great service. (That means something coming from me, as I'm a former waiter and strongly adhere to 15% for normal service.)

After considering the dinner prices and service we received at other restaurants during our trip, this was our clear cut favorite for the whole trip.

I agree with go. I live in maryland and the Rainforest Cafe out here is awful. Most of the MGM restaurants, Emeril's, NobHill, CraftSteak, Seablue are all very good to excellent, not to mention the really fancy one that I can't spell which is supposed to be terrific.
